Smokey van and too much traffic at Gardens by the Bay.
Pleasant evening however too much time was spent at the Quay and this led to difficulty getting through traffic and a longish walk through crowds at Gardens By the Bay. The transport was unpleasant as the driver smoked in the bus when it was empty-it made a most unpleasant smell when we got in.
Response from the operator: Dear Catherine, Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Lion City Night Out tour. We’re glad to hear you had a pleasant evening, though we’re sorry that the time spent at the Quay and the walk through the crowds at Gardens by the Bay made the experience less comfortable. We’re especially concerned to hear about your comments regarding the transport. Please accept our sincere apologies — smoking on board is strictly not permitted, and we will be addressing this matter with the transport provider to ensure it does not happen again. Your feedback is valuable and will help us improve our service. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a smoother and more enjoyable experience next time. Thanks, Paul

Good night lights experience
Great tour with boat river trip, light show visit and stop at Merlion park. The only negative part was very inexperienced pick up driver. He was constantly late and had no idea where to go, so guide was telling him the directions.
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the river cruise, light show, and visit to Merlion Park—those are definitely highlights of the tour. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the pickup driver. Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll be following up with our transportation partners to ensure better training and coordination in the future. We appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you on another, smoother journey soon. Thanks, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)

Lion Ciry Night Tour a Winner!
This was an evening tour really worth doing. A "bum boat" ride up the river, excellent and very knowledgeable guide, amazing sights and then the light show at Gardens by the Bay! Spectacular!! Highly recommend.

It's definitely a magical way to experience Singapore by night! ✨🌆 We truly appreciate the recommendation and hope to see you again on your next adventure! Thanks, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)

Below expectations
We found the tour quite disappointing. Firstly, the whole tour group had to wait over an hour for 1 guest who missed their hotel pick-up and this caused the rest of the tour and location stops to be rushed, for example, we got to see just the last 5 minutes of the Super Tree light show and trying to push through crowds of people and race up and down stairs was far from ideal with a 7 year old child and my 72 year old mother, otherwise we would have missed out on seeing the Super Tree Grove completely and was the main draw in booking this tour to begin with - we did get some really good photos, so all was not lost. It was just disappointing and well below expectations.
Response from the operator: Hi Shane, Thank you for your honest feedback, and we're truly sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to have the tour impacted by delays outside of your control—especially when traveling with family, including a young child and senior guest. Your comfort and enjoyment should never be compromised. While we’re glad you still managed to capture some great photos and moments, we know how important it is to experience the Super Tree Grove fully and not in a rushed manner. Your feedback highlights an important point, and we will work closely with our operations team and guides to better manage time and group dynamics going forward, ensuring that one delay does not impact the entire group to this extent. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts—we truly value them and will take this as an opportunity to improve. Thanks, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Singapore After Dark: Light Show & River Cruise Guided Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Singapore.
How much does Singapore After Dark: Light Show & River Cruise Guided Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $82 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Singapore usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Singapore After Dark: Light Show & River Cruise Guided Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Singapore is not rushed.
Is Singapore After Dark: Light Show & River Cruise Guided Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 160 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Singapore, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Singapore After Dark: Light Show & River Cruise Guided Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Singapore After Dark: Light Show & River Cruise Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Singapore After Dark: Light Show & River Cruise Guided Tour?
+
Around 56 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Singapore can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Singapore and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Singapore After Dark: Light Show & River Cruise Guided Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Singapore within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Singapore?
+
On Outty we rank every Singapore experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Singapore Highlights Small Group Bike Tour on Full-Sized Bicycles, Lion City Bike Tour of Singapore, Singapore River Cruise, Night Garden Rhapsody & Spectra by CYT. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Singapore?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Singapore?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
