Okay but not great

I was quite disappointed with the show. Costumes were glamorous but the lip syncing and amateurish dancing were mediocre at best. It’s not a mixed cabaret, just lip syncing and dancing by the “artists”. The posturing after the show where they line up to meet audience and encourage photos then demand money for the privilege isn’t nice. I wouldn’t recommend. It.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify a few points to help other travelers understand the nature of this performance. As stated on our website and the product description, the Simon Cabaret is a traditional lip-syncing production focused on glamorous costumes and set design. Regarding the photos after the show, we also mention online that if you choose to take a photo with the performers, a tip of 100 THB is expected per person. We appreciate your comments on the costumes and will share your feedback regarding the choreography with the theater management. Best regards, Paul

Was an awesome show!! Amazing costumes and the choeography was on point! We had a fantastic night out!!

Response from the operator: Hi Chloe, Thank you so much for the 'awesome' review! We are thrilled to hear that you had a fantastic night out with us. Our performers work incredibly hard on their choreography, and our design team takes great pride in those glittering, world-class costumes. It is wonderful to know that the glamour and energy of the show made your evening in Phuket so memorable! We look forward to welcoming you back for another spectacular performance on your next visit to the island. Best regards, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)

It was a good show .

The show was good . Would recommend it . Only thing I was disappointed in was on leaving the lady boys grabbed my husband and tild me to take a picture. I did then they wouldnt leave us alone asking for money. They grabbed and pulled him in . It should have said somewhere you have to pay to take picture.

Response from the operator: Dear donna, Thank you for your review and for recommending the show! We are glad you enjoyed the performance and the glamour of Simon Cabaret. We sincerely apologize if the interaction after the show felt overwhelming. It is a long-standing tradition that the performers gather outside for photos with the audience. While this is a great chance for a souvenir, the performers do expect a tip (usually 100 THB per person) for these photos, as this is a personal interaction outside of the stage performance. We appreciate your feedback regarding the lack of clear signage or information about this. We will share your comments with the venue management to ensure that guests are better informed so they can enjoy the photo session without any surprises. We hope you and your husband had a wonderful rest of your stay in Phuket Thanks, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)

Wasn't a favorite of our trip

It was our friend's birthday while in Phuket so we went to the show for a fun celebration. The ticket prices and picking us up at the hotel were great. Costuming a 15 out of 10, Sets 15 out of 10, but the lip singing and dancing was dreadful. I am in the performing business and have been in and attended many productions in my life but here they seemed to not know the words and was just attempting to mouth the words There was no facial expressions, everyone seemed stiff and the choreography was not together and actually a bit boring. Again the costumes and sets were amazing but some of the numbers were very dated. Old school Vegas at best. There were a couple of shinning moments - the vogue section and the last Hot hot hot section were my favorites. The lead in both of those were lip singing to a tee and had expressions on their faces and really entertained the audience. The comic relief part was hilarious - I wish there had of been more of that or a lead MC or something. Unfortunately It was not a highlife of our trip

Response from the operator: Dear 147shell Thank you for sharing your feedback. However, after reviewing our records, it appears there may be a misunderstanding regarding which company provided your service. You mentioned receiving a transfer as part of your experience; however, IAsia Thailand only provides "Ticket Only" admission for this specific product and does not offer transfer services. Because of this, it seems your booking was likely made with a different operator. We take all feedback seriously, but as this service was not provided by our team, we have reached out to the platform to have this review redirected to the correct business. This ensures your comments reach the right people. Best regards, Paul

Simon Cabaret: Phuket’s Ladyboy Glamour Show: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phuket.

How much does Simon Cabaret: Phuket’s Ladyboy Glamour Show cost?

+

Prices start at $960 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phuket usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Simon Cabaret: Phuket’s Ladyboy Glamour Show take?

+

Plan for about 1.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phuket is not rushed.

Is Simon Cabaret: Phuket’s Ladyboy Glamour Show worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 151 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Phuket, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Simon Cabaret: Phuket’s Ladyboy Glamour Show?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Simon Cabaret: Phuket’s Ladyboy Glamour Show suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1.3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Simon Cabaret: Phuket’s Ladyboy Glamour Show?

+

Around 53 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phuket can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phuket and add a light layer if any part of the 1.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Simon Cabaret: Phuket’s Ladyboy Glamour Show start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phuket within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Phuket?

+

On Outty we rank every Phuket experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Southern Flavors Phuket Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, James Bond Island by Big Boat w/ Sea Cave Canoeing and Lunch, Phang Nga Bay Canoeing & James Bond Island Tour from Phuket. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Phuket?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Phuket?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
