What you get

    About this experience

Starting from Sorrento towards Meta, we will cross some small towns on the Sorrento peninsula, Sant’Agnello and Piano di Sorrento. Once in Meta, we will encounter the first roughness of the day: a 5 km climb at 4-5% slope that will lead us to the brow of the Teresinella towards the beginning of State Road 163 in the direction of Amalfi. From here we will dive, among dozens and dozens of curves, on the Amalfi coast, crossing the famous towns of Positano and Praiano, until we reach the Cathedral of Amalfi. During the journey we will all face ups and downs, each of 2-3 km with slopes between 4 and 5%, and we will travel for 20 km along the coast overlooking the Gulf of Salerno. Once in Amalfi, we will make a brief stop in the coastal town between the traditional alleys and the majestic Cathedral of Sant’Andrea. After the stop we will return to Sorrento retracing the same route as the first leg. Our Bike Tour will end in Sorrento after about 60 km.

    A great experience, happy vibe!

Macarena was our guide. She was very energetic, enthousiastic and safely guided us through the Amalfi coast. The best there is 🏆. The coast was stunning! It helps a lot when you are an experienced biker.

Couples road bike Sorento to Amalfi

We had a great ride with “Peter” my wife and I are above average riders and rented carbon fiber Giant bikes and brought our own pedals and shoes. It was approximately 28 miles out and back. Pretty hilly but manageable. Early morning was best we left from our hotel at 7:45. Traffic was manageable. Need to feel confident on bike in traffic. Peter was great and we had an amazing time. Highly recommend!

    Bucket list cycle

Absolutely incredible. Views were breathtaking and real bucket list moment cycling along the cliff edge towards Amalfi. Pietro was my guide and was excellent! Details: Peace of mind text message to confirm location, timings and bike size/type ( I chose road bike + helmet which was fine - I brought my own SPD shoes and bibshorts.) Started on time and pick up from hotel Drove to starting point (10mins) Super strength Espresso and pastry for fuelling :) Towards Amalfi is mostly downhill and it’s awesome! (Only issue is traffic on tight corners) Loads of photo opportunities and three main stops for tour guidance Stop at the bottom 1km from Amalfi in a cafe for recharging Begin the accent, three main climbs. I went in front so can take as much or as little time as I wanted up the hills. Each stage was tougher (last one is 4km 650m accent with hills of 5%) than the last but what an experience. Highly recommended.

    Lovely Experience

Lovely experience, Macarena was really nice and friendly; and also a very good photographer! Cycling the Amalfi coast is a unique way to experience and I remember thinking "WOW" quite a few times on the tour. I would really recommend this experience if you like going on active adventures. The scenery is beautiful, and it was fun navigating the somewhat chaotic roads (however, it wasn't too chaotic, totally manageable)!

Outstanding Amalfi coast bike tours highly with Enjoy Bike Tours of Sorrento

It was amazing and memorable experience. My Gide was Maca alwho was she very knowledgeable about the area (and its traffic). She was also very attentive to how I was feeling and was willing to stop whenever I needed. But that was never necessary because she stopped numerous times to allow me to take pictures, always at very scenic spots. I recommend the Enjoy Bike tours highly, especially those led by Maca.

Sightseeing Bike Tour Amalfi Coast: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sorrento.

How much does Sightseeing Bike Tour Amalfi Coast cost?

    +

Prices start at $109 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sightseeing Bike Tour Amalfi Coast take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sorrento is not rushed.

Is Sightseeing Bike Tour Amalfi Coast worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sightseeing Bike Tour Amalfi Coast?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sightseeing Bike Tour Amalfi Coast suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sightseeing Bike Tour Amalfi Coast?

    +

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sightseeing Bike Tour Amalfi Coast start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sorrento within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sorrento?

    +

On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sorrento?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sorrento?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
