About this experience
No snow? No problem. While waiting for the snow to come we head out for a relaxing sightseeing and hike. We pass by the highest mountains of Kvaløya, pristine beaches, we look for reindeer, eagles and watch nature getting ready for the winter. The tour is very easy and almost everyone should be able to complete the hike. After about an hour drive with some stops we head to one of the nicest viewpoints in the area - a cliff surrounded by several peaks rising above the ocean.

**Awesome Hike**
Tomas was our guide on this exceptional experience, and he truly made it unforgettable. We set off from the store just after 10 a.m., not realizing we were in the company of a walking, talking encyclopedia! Tomas is an outstanding tour guide, incredibly knowledgeable and exceptionally well-traveled. I would rate him as one of the best guides I’ve encountered in all my travels around the world. The hike itself takes just over an hour and offers breathtaking scenery. The remainder of the tour is a scenic drive featuring magnificent views of fjords and glaciers—truly a feast for the eyes. A highlight of the experience was enjoying sweet cheese and fresh juice, which added a delightful local touch. Tomas, thank you for sharing your incredible insights. I hope to join you on another activity the next time I’m in Tromsø! I highly recommend this tour and would absolutely do it again.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tromso?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
