BEST AMALFI AND POMPEII EXPERIENCE HANDS DOWN!
I can’t say enough about my families experience with this tour. Paolo our Guide and driver was excellent from the beginning. Our pick up was on time. He was engaging from the beginning excellent customer service. He was not just a driver. He showed us many sites along the drive to the Amalfi coast to see Positano. He kept my teenage kids engaged during the entire visit, Positano was beautiful. We could’ve spent more time there, but that will be for another visit. He took us to a lemon cello factory. There was great, although not for my wallet he then took us to an excellent lunch at Mata, which is close to Pompeii. Then the highlight of the trip our guided tour of Pompeii with Lelo. I can’t say enough about Lelo. I can’t say enough about Lelo. A tour with an archeologist, and one that had a passion about sharing the his knowledge and keeping two teenagers and all of us engaged. He made me and my family feel like celebrities while touring. Having a guide for a Pompeii tour is a MUST if it’s in your budget. Paolo got us back to our hotel. By the way you can get this tour with a hotel pickup instead of cruise. Paolo and Lelo were the best!

Awesome Amalfi Coast and Pompeii Tour!!
My wife and I took a tour of the Amalfi coast and Pompeii with my two girls ages 13 and 16 from the cruise port of Naples. We were picked up right at our ship, the Norwegian Epic by Pallo who showed us some amazing sights along the Amalfi coast before spending the morning in Positano.Pallo knew all the sights where ever we were and told us stories about every place we saw.In Positano he gave us some free time for shopping and exploring. What a great morning we will never forget. We then drove to Pompeii where we stopped for lunch and showed a great place to eat that we would have never found on our own.We then went to the ruins of Pompeii where we were met by Roberta who I can’t imagine anyone knowing more about the ruins then her.She showed us so many interesting things and really kept my girls engaged on a very hot day.We just didn’t want the day to end.If you are looking for a private tour of the Amalfi coast and Pompeii I wouldn’t look anywhere else.Ask for Pallo to show you the Amalfi coast and Roberta when you tour Pompeii. You cant do any better than them!!
Response from the operator: Dear Michael, thank you very much for your detailed review. We appreciate it! And even it's a pleasure to know you enjoyed your day, with our team! We hope to have you soon again in Italy for other tours with us! Best wishes

Best tour, well worth it!!!
Our two boys 10 and 6 were enjoying the tour a lot. Rebecca brought iPad with many visuals to keep them engaged and entertained. She also took the best route that avoid big tour groups. With two and half hours, both kids and us learned a lot! Thank you Rebecca!

Shore Excursion Tour for Kids from Naples to Pompeii and Amalfi Coast: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Shore Excursion Tour for Kids from Naples to Pompeii and Amalfi Coast cost?
+
Prices start at $29 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Shore Excursion Tour for Kids from Naples to Pompeii and Amalfi Coast take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Shore Excursion Tour for Kids from Naples to Pompeii and Amalfi Coast worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Shore Excursion Tour for Kids from Naples to Pompeii and Amalfi Coast?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Shore Excursion Tour for Kids from Naples to Pompeii and Amalfi Coast suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Shore Excursion Tour for Kids from Naples to Pompeii and Amalfi Coast?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Shore Excursion Tour for Kids from Naples to Pompeii and Amalfi Coast start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
