Morning City Tour of Cartegena
We hired Mr. Duran for a half-day private tour of Cartagena and had a fantastic experience. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared fascinating insights about the history of the city throughout the tour. Our itinerary included visits to the fort, Convento La Popa, and a walking tour through the historic areas of Cartagena. Everything was well organized, informative, and enjoyable. We truly enjoyed our morning with Mr. Duran and would highly recommend his company to anyone looking for a personalized and engaging city tour.

The Best Private Tour in Cartagena
Angel is an amazing person who is truly following his calling working with people. We initially did the Bazurta Market Tour and Cooking class. We were so impressed and felt like we knew him for years we hired him to do the private tour the following day. He had us laughing so much. The beauty of the private tour is that he is flexible and will take you places you want to go. We wanted to go shopping at a particular store and he took us and shopped with us. Just awesome. Another thing we felt like the healthcare provider our hotel recommended for the COVID test was charging too much. I called up Angel and you know it, he sent over someone to the hotel who was way cheaper. There was no cost for his service. We really fell in love with Angel and his wife Maria.
Response from the operator: This is Angel to express my feelings about this review. It is almost or maybe impossible to write a review like this, when I read it, I felt very proud to be a tour guide and help what I like the most. People. Maria and I really enjoyed sharing with you. We hope to see you again. Sincrely Angel Durán

Informative City Tour for adults
Overall it was a very informative city tour led by Angel. It is clear to see his pride for the culture, Angel tried very hard to share with us his knowledge and keep the group engaged. My group had a few teens, it was more challenging to keep them interested. He was flexible to allow us more free time in the Navy Museum, where kids were more interested (may be because of the free wifi :-) )and wanted to explore on their own. I can tell he was disappointed not able to show us more of the old city as a result of our extra long stay at the Navy museum, but I appreciated his flexibility, and his willingness to make adjustment based on customers' needs. If I was to go back next time (especially if going back without kids), I think I would love to try one of their cooking class tours. Overall I would highly recommend the tour, the only consideration may be avoid doing longer culture focused tour with younger kids.
Response from the operator: Hello. This is the best way to finish this wonderful day. I mean by reading a so nive review. Thanks a lot for writing about it. You have a beautiful familyu, God bless you all. Sincerely Angel E Durán

Duran Duran in addition to very kind and attentive is a deep knowledgeable of the history of Colombia and in particular of Cartagena. We led to very beautiful places and revealed aspects and historical facts of Cartagena and the work of the writer Gabriel Garcia Marques during his stay in that city.
Response from the operator: Olá boa noite, obrigado por um comentário táo bo. foi um frazer compartilhar con voce, nao se esqueca de voltar para a Colombia. Nóa amamos voce. Angel Durán

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
