Great tour but too much included to provide free time

Everything we saw was fantastic however we were rushed so no time to relax and enjoy browsing in the amazing towns.

    Adventures into the hills

Taken to places we would never have experienced otherwise, our guide was very knowledgeable and let us all on track

All in all a most enjoyable day spent in a different part of Japan

The day went by quickly and we covered quite a bit. the guide (Massa) was delightful. She was quite knowledgeable and personalized what we learned. Otherwise it would have facts from a text book. The only gripe I have is that we should have spent more time in Shirakawa-go and less in Takayama. Although the architecture of the buildings in Takayama is quite interesting they are essentially filled with shops or places to get food.

    Excellent day trip

The guide & driver were very kind and knowledgeable. Both towns very interesting in different ways. I highly recommend this tour as a day trip from Kanazawa. The ramen lunch in Takayama was delicious. An improvement would be clearer joining instructions. Kanazawa station is fairly big so specify the gate and location outside the tourist information office, we walked all around looking for where the meeting point might be.
