Fantastic experience overall. Met at an easy to find spot to start the tour and went around Shinjuku and Shibuya. Pictures came out great and being 1v1 with the photographer was great. Photographer was extremely nice and had a good eye for pictures. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting and want a good photographer that is very reasonably priced.

More Than a Photo Tour—A True Tokyo Experience
Gota was amazing! We didn’t know what to expect with the tour, but his hospitality set us all at ease. I enjoyed the knowledge and tips he shared about this beautiful city. From the moment we met, Gota effortlessly navigated us through the busy streets and crowds of Tokyo, making the entire experience feel relaxed and seamless. He even took us on the local train, which added an authentic touch to the tour and made us feel like we were exploring the city with a local friend rather than just following a guide. One of my favorite moments was when he treated us to a drink at a beautiful bar, where we had a chance to relax while he walked us through the plan for the next couple of hours. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a great way to get to know him before we started shooting. Gota also gave fantastic posing tips that made us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Whether you're used to being photographed or not, he knows exactly how to help you look natural. What really made this tour special was that he took us to unique locations we never would have found on our own. Some of the most stunning spots were places we had actually walked past earlier without even noticing. Gota has an incredible eye for finding hidden gems and turning ordinary streets into beautiful backdrops. If you're visiting Tokyo and want more than just amazing photos, this is the experience to book. You'll leave with incredible memories, a deeper appreciation for the city, and photos you'll treasure for years. Thank you, Gota, for such an unforgettable experience!

We’re especially delighted that you appreciated the local insights, hidden locations, and thoughtful touches throughout the tour. Helping guests discover places they might otherwise miss while sharing the culture and atmosphere of Tokyo is something Gota-san is truly passionate about. We’re also thrilled to hear that his posing guidance helped you feel confident in front of the camera and that the final photos are memories you’ll treasure for years to come. Your kind words about the unique locations, relaxed pace, and overall experience are deeply appreciated. Thank you again for your heartfelt recommendation and for choosing Gota-san. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Tokyo for another unforgettable adventure in the future.

We had such an amazing experience with Gota! From the very beginning, he made us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. He gave us clear, natural posing directions that made the photos look effortless, even though we’re not used to being photographed😅 Beyond taking incredible pictures, Gota shared so much about Tokyo throughout the shoot! We learned interesting facts about the city, its history, and the different places we visited, which made the experience feel like both a photoshoot and a personal tour. He was professional, friendly, patient, and genuinely passionate about what he does. The entire session was fun, relaxed, and one of the highlights of our trip. If you’re looking for beautiful photos and a memorable experience in Tokyo, I couldn’t recommend Gota more!! Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Shinjuku & Shibuya Night Photo Tour with Pro Photographer: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tokyo.
How much does Shinjuku & Shibuya Night Photo Tour with Pro Photographer cost?
+
Prices start at $15000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tokyo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Shinjuku & Shibuya Night Photo Tour with Pro Photographer take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tokyo is not rushed.
Is Shinjuku & Shibuya Night Photo Tour with Pro Photographer worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 198 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tokyo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Shinjuku & Shibuya Night Photo Tour with Pro Photographer?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Shinjuku & Shibuya Night Photo Tour with Pro Photographer suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Shinjuku & Shibuya Night Photo Tour with Pro Photographer?
+
Around 69 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tokyo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tokyo and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Shinjuku & Shibuya Night Photo Tour with Pro Photographer start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tokyo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tokyo?
+
Tokyo is less a city than a stack of neighborhoods with completely different opening hours. A guided food crawl through Shinjuku's Omoide Yokocho gets you past the no-tourist curtains, while the day trips west to Hakone and Fuji need an early start to be worth the fare. Our ranking weighs guide quality heavily here, because in Tokyo the guide is the product. On Outty we rank every Tokyo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tokyo Shinjuku Chopsticks Making Class, Tokyo : Asakusa Chopsticks Making Class, Shinjuku Night Food and Bar Crawl. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tokyo?
+
Late March to May for blossom, October to November for clear Fuji views. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tokyo?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
