Adrenalin rush highly recommend this tour

Absolutely fantastic experience driving through the streets of Tokyo for 2 hours it was such an adrenaline rush, tour guides were all very helpful and made us feel extremely safe whilst travelling through the city, Shibuya crossing was the highlight for us. The karts are big so you don’t feel so small next to traffic. We did the late afternoon tour sun was just going down it was pretty cool we wanted to go again straight away. 5 stars 🌟

Response from the operator: Dear Rebecca_M: Thank you so much for this incredible 5-star review and for describing the tour as such an “adrenaline rush”! We loved reading how much you enjoyed spending two hours driving through the streets of Tokyo. It means a lot to us that, even with the excitement of the experience, our guides also made you feel extremely safe and well looked after throughout the tour. That balance between excitement, clear guidance, and safety is exactly what we want every guest to feel on our Tokyo go-kart tour. We’re especially happy that Shibuya Crossing was the highlight for you. Driving through one of Tokyo’s most iconic locations at street level is a completely different feeling from simply watching it from the sidewalk, and it is one of those moments that many guests remember long after their trip. Thank you as well for mentioning the size and comfort of our karts. We want guests to feel confident on the road, even while experiencing the energy and traffic of central Tokyo. And you picked such a beautiful time for the tour. Riding in the late afternoon as the sun begins to set gives Tokyo a special atmosphere, with the city gradually changing from daylight into its evening lights. The best part of your review may be that you wanted to go again immediately after finishing. That is one of the biggest compliments we could ever receive. Thank you again, Rebecca_M, for choosing Kira Kira Tokyo Tours and for recommending us so highly. We hope this Tokyo go-kart adventure remains one of the standout memories of your trip to Japan, and we would absolutely love to welcome you back for another ride someday! Kind regards, Kira Kira Tokyo Tours

Great Experience!

Great experience! Would certainly recommend to others! Site seeing while driving was super cool! Loved this experience!

Response from the operator: Dear Alnisa_B: Thank you so much for your wonderful 5-star review and for recommending our Tokyo go-kart tour to others! We especially loved reading that sightseeing while driving was “super cool.” That is exactly what makes exploring Tokyo by go-kart such a unique experience. Instead of simply looking at the city from a bus or walking between attractions, you become part of the streets themselves and experience Tokyo’s energy from an entirely different perspective. During the tour, guests can enjoy some of Tokyo’s most iconic areas and landmarks, including Tokyo Tower, Roppongi, Harajuku, and the famous Shibuya Crossing. Combining sightseeing with the excitement of driving makes these familiar Tokyo sights feel completely different and creates memories that are hard to reproduce with an ordinary city tour. Your words, “Loved this experience!” and your willingness to recommend us to others truly mean a lot to the entire Kira Kira Tokyo Tours team. Personal recommendations from guests who have actually experienced the tour are one of the greatest compliments we can receive. Thank you again, Alnisa_B, for choosing Kira Kira Tokyo Tours during your time in Japan. We hope your Tokyo go-kart adventure remains one of the highlights of your trip, and we would be delighted to welcome you back for another ride the next time you visit Tokyo! Kind regards, Kira Kira Tokyo Tours

Experience was great! Daniel was a great tour guide, very informative about Tokyo. Would do again! 10/10

Response from the operator: Dear Kristen_V: Thank you so much for your wonderful 5-star review and for giving your experience a 10/10! We’re especially happy to hear that Daniel made your Tokyo go-kart tour such a great experience. He truly enjoys sharing his knowledge of Tokyo while making the ride fun, comfortable, and memorable, so your kind words will mean a lot to him. One of the things we love most about exploring Tokyo by go-kart is that sightseeing becomes much more immersive. Instead of simply looking at the city from the outside, you get to experience the energy of Tokyo at street level while passing iconic areas such as Tokyo Tower, Roppongi, Harajuku, and the famous Shibuya Crossing. And hearing you say, “Would do again!” might be the best compliment of all. We always hope our guests finish the tour not only with great memories of Tokyo, but already thinking about their next ride. Thank you again, Kristen_V, for choosing Kira Kira Tokyo Tours. Daniel and our entire team truly appreciate your 5-star support, and we would be delighted to welcome you back for another Tokyo go-kart adventure on your next visit to Japan! Easy to learn how to...

Easy to learn how to drive the go cart, great way to see the sights! Our guide leader was knowledgeable and friendly.

Response from the operator: Dear Andrew_G: Thank you very much for your wonderful 5-star review! We’re especially happy to hear that you found the go-kart easy to learn and comfortable to drive. For many guests, driving a go-kart on the streets of Tokyo is a completely new experience, so we place a lot of importance on clear instructions and making sure everyone feels confident before heading out. It’s also great to know that you enjoyed seeing the sights from such a different perspective. A Tokyo go-kart tour lets you experience the city in a way that ordinary sightseeing simply cannot—feeling the energy of the streets while passing iconic areas such as Tokyo Tower, Roppongi, Harajuku, and Shibuya Crossing. Thank you as well for your kind words about our guide. Being knowledgeable and friendly is exactly the balance we aim for: providing useful information about Tokyo while keeping the atmosphere relaxed, safe, and enjoyable throughout the tour. We truly appreciate you choosing Kira Kira Tokyo Tours, Andrew_G. We hope this became one of the memorable highlights of your time in Japan, and we would be delighted to welcome you back for another Tokyo go-kart adventure in the future! Shibuya Crossing x Tokyo Tower Go-Kart Tour(IDP&Passport Required: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tokyo.

How much does Shibuya Crossing x Tokyo Tower Go-Kart Tour(IDP&Passport Required cost?

+

Prices start at $12000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tokyo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Shibuya Crossing x Tokyo Tower Go-Kart Tour(IDP&Passport Required take?

+

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tokyo is not rushed.

Is Shibuya Crossing x Tokyo Tower Go-Kart Tour(IDP&Passport Required worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 55 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tokyo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Shibuya Crossing x Tokyo Tower Go-Kart Tour(IDP&Passport Required?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Shibuya Crossing x Tokyo Tower Go-Kart Tour(IDP&Passport Required suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Shibuya Crossing x Tokyo Tower Go-Kart Tour(IDP&Passport Required?

+

Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tokyo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tokyo and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Shibuya Crossing x Tokyo Tower Go-Kart Tour(IDP&Passport Required start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tokyo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tokyo?

+

Tokyo is less a city than a stack of neighborhoods with completely different opening hours. A guided food crawl through Shinjuku's Omoide Yokocho gets you past the no-tourist curtains, while the day trips west to Hakone and Fuji need an early start to be worth the fare. Our ranking weighs guide quality heavily here, because in Tokyo the guide is the product. On Outty we rank every Tokyo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tokyo Shinjuku Chopsticks Making Class, Tokyo : Asakusa Chopsticks Making Class, Shinjuku Night Food and Bar Crawl. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tokyo?

+

Late March to May for blossom, October to November for clear Fuji views. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tokyo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
