    Book ahead of time.

Very disappointing. We got there and they told us the time of 11:30 was available, but that we had to walk up the hill to book. Once we got to the tower, there was a huge line, with the lady saying that the next available time was 1:30 or 2:00. We looked on the website while standing in line and they still had times from 11:30-12:00 available, which wasn’t true. I’d recommend booking online ahead of time, and just hoping they actually have the available times that they offer.

Response from the operator: It sounds like you’re talking about the vigilante, extreme zip writer in which case I’m not sure exactly what it was. You were looking up, but the two times were sold out that morning well in advance so it looks like you might’ve looked at the wrong thing. It’s possible you were looking at the Zip Line canopy tour, which is a completely different activity.

Glad we tried, but never again

I purchased the super pass for one day. Staff - They were friendly and curteous. Kudos to the girl working the rope course. She helped my daughter make it through some challenging parts. Another girl at the grill wished me a happy fathers day. Advertising - I purchased the super pass because it showed it allowed unlimited access to the entire park minus the ziplines. We were allowed to ride the Copperhead Coaster twice then the attendants refused riding a third time claiming that pass only allowed two rides. After we left the part I double checked the website. Nowhere does it state only 2 rides are permitted. Food - On the website they advertise a variety of foods. When we arrived around lunch time we were told they only served brunch until 2PM. Their version of brunch is a continental breakfast from a hotel but you'll be charged a premium for it. We were unimpressed with their vesion of brunch. We came back after 2PM for a burger. The quality of the food was similar to a college cafeteria. It was awful. We won't be eating in the park ever again. For the prices they charge I expect better. Attractions - The copperhead coaster was fun. The inspriation tower was good. The Sky trail was good. The rope course was great. Everything else lacked attention, maintenance and staff. It reminded me of an abandoned park that hasn't gotten any preventative maintenance in months and was falling apart. It appeared they had been short staffed for a while and needed help keeping afloat. Pricing - To provide an example, at the candy store the staff member stated it comes out to a dollar for 4 pieces of candy. Which, if he was honest that wouldn't appeal to a lot of customers and was overpriced. I couldn't help but laugh and agree. I did get my daughter a bag of candy from their shop but didn't purchase of the candy you have to put in a bag. Overall, between the false advertising of the park entry ticket with the copperhead coaster and the awful food at the grill we will likely never go back. There are plenty of other parks we can give our business to and give them a try.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for visiting Shepherd’s Adventure Park. We’re glad to hear that several of our team members made a positive impression, especially our ropes course staff and restaurant team. We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words. We would like to clarify one point regarding the Super Ticket. Our advertising does not state that guests receive unlimited rides on all attractions. The Super Ticket includes admission to the Adventure Park attractions, one ride on the Copperhead Mountain Coaster, and one trip through the SkyTrek Ropes Course. Additional rides on the coaster and ropes course may be purchased separately. We apologize if there was any misunderstanding regarding what was included with your admission. We are also sorry to hear that your dining experience did not meet expectations. Guest feedback is important to us, and we will share your comments with our food and beverage team as we continually work to improve our offerings. Regarding the condition of the park, we take great pride in maintaining our attractions and facilities, and we appreciate your honest observations. We are always investing in improvements and staffing to provide the best possible experience for our guests. Thank you again for your visit and for recognizing the efforts of several of our team members. While we’re disappointed that parts of your experience fell short of expectations, we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns and wish you and your family the very best.

Quality employees make the experience . These guys get it.

Our instructors Eli, Eric and Cooper were amazing. We had a reluctant 8 year old grandson who took a little convincing. The instructors were patient and friendly and were ultimately able to get him to join in the fun. Because of their kindness and patience we were all blessed with a very exciting and enjoyable zip line experience. Thank you gentlemen. I highly recommend this adventure.

Shepherds Adventure Park: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Branson.

How much does Shepherds Adventure Park cost?

    +

Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Branson usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Shepherds Adventure Park take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Branson is not rushed.

Is Shepherds Adventure Park worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 45 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable family friendly in Branson, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Shepherds Adventure Park?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Shepherds Adventure Park suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Shepherds Adventure Park?

    +

Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Branson can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Branson and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Shepherds Adventure Park start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Branson within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Branson?

    +

Branson is show country: theatre productions, dinner cruises on Table Rock Lake, Silver Dollar City, Ozark cave tours and duck boat alternatives on the water. Show tickets vary in seating tier, so we weight listings that spell it out. On Outty we rank every Branson experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Haygoods: Branson's Most Popular Show, The Petersens at The Little Opry Theatre in Branson, Branson Murder Mystery- Branson's Original #1 Murder Mystery. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Branson?

    +

April to June and September to December for the Christmas season. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Branson?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
