Juma Mosque
The Shamakhi Juma Mosque, located in Shamakhi, Azerbaijan, is the country's oldest and largest mosque, founded in 743 AD. Despite numerous destructions by earthquakes and other events, it has been restored and reconstructed over centuries, with the most recent work completed in 2013. Palace of Shaki Khans
This ornate 1762 palace building features vivid murals and dazzling colored light streaming through Shabaka(stained-glass) windows making it Sheki’s foremost ‘sight’ and one of the South Caucasus’ most iconic buildings. It was originally the Sheki Khan’s administrative building, just one of around 40 now-lost royal structures within the fortress compound.

Sheki Karvansaray
Swift development of trade in the Middle Ages enhanced the importance of caravanserai existing in the territory of Azerbaijan at that time and favored construction of new ones. Generally, caravanserai was a built-in form of castles with one gate, closing of which made them impregnable during dangerous incidents. “Caravanserai” historical complex in Sheki is two magnificent caravanserais which reached present days and traditionally named “Yukhary” and “Ashaghy” caravanserai, which means “Upper” and “Lower” Caravanserai in translation from Azerbaijani into English. The construction of these caravanserais is dated back to the 18th-19th centuries.

Church of Kish
The brilliantly renovated round-towered Albanian church in pretty Kiş village has been lovingly converted into a very well-presented trilingual museum. It’s the best place anywhere to learn about mysterious Caucasian Albania, the Christian nation that once covered most of northern Azerbaijan. In fact, the church site goes back well beyond the Christian era, and glass-covered grave excavations allow visitors to peer down on the bones of possibly Bronze Age skeletons.

Great Experience
I used Best Baku Tours for four days of sightseeing in and around Baku as well as airport transfers. From the initial contact, Azad in the office was very responsive. We worked together on an itinerary. I paid for the tour on arrival in Azerbaijan. Because I didn't want a guide, Azad was able to arrange an English speaking driver for me. Riqaf, my driver, was an excellent driver and very flexible as we would add or delete things depending on my mood. I would highly recommend this company!!

Wonderful and surprising Azerbaijan
I did several tours with the company, but Trip only allows me to pick up one tour. This review applies to Azerbaijan and to Best Baku Tours. Azerbaijan was not an obvious destination for me, as I am sure it is not for most Western European tourists, who usually go to the same old places (Italy, Spain...). You do come to see tourists in Azerbaijan, but they are from Arabic countries, from Iran, India, Russia, Georgia, and so on, and only a handfull from Western Europe. So a key interesting feature is that you come across many different cultures and languages and religions in this country. Best Baku Tours has gained a unique set of skills in dealing with tourists from so many different places which in this case it means that it can take into account the specificites of the tourist, but without loosing sight of the best that the country has to offer, which includes its sites, its culture, its cuisine, its way of living, and so on. Our driver (Gismet) took us to several popular destinations (Gobustan and Sheki), and to other less popular (Goygol and Guba), always maintaining a calm attitude during driving, in a country where negotiating traffic is an adventure in itself. Best Baku Tours showed high levels of organisation coupled with adaptation and flexibility, which again shows that they know their business and their customer's needs. Overall, this was a country worth visiting, and the people at Best Baku Tours did a fantastic job promoting the wonders of Azerbaijan.

Sheki tour with overnight: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Baku.
How much does Sheki tour with overnight cost?
+
Prices start at $200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Baku usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sheki tour with overnight take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Baku is not rushed.
Is Sheki tour with overnight worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Baku, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sheki tour with overnight?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sheki tour with overnight suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sheki tour with overnight?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Baku can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Baku and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sheki tour with overnight start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Baku within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Baku?
+
On Outty we rank every Baku experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gobustan and Absheron tour, BEST Gobustan, Volcanoes & Absheron Fire Tour (Group or Private), Shamakhi And Gabala Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Baku?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Baku?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
