About this experience

Tangked and Gili Biaha offer one of Bali's most unique shark diving experiences. The highlight of the trip is observing Whitetip Reef Sharks resting inside natural underwater caves, a behavior rarely seen at most dive destinations. These dive sites combine shark encounters, underwater caverns, steep walls, healthy coral reefs, and seasonal Mola Mola sightings in a single adventure. Their remote location and lower diver traffic often create a more exclusive diving experience compared to Bali's more frequently visited dive sites. Recommended Experience • Recommended for divers with approximately 50 or more logged dives • Divers should be comfortable with negative entries and descents to approximately 25 meters • Experience with drift diving and open ocean conditions is recommended • Good buoyancy control and situational awareness are required • As no check dives are conducted at these locations, we recommend booking this trip on your second or third diving day in Bali

Beautiful caves and sharks

The dive company reached out to let us know that more experience is required (at least 50 logged dives) and we were able to modify the plan to maximize our safety and enjoyment. My husband and i absolutely loved the group we boated and dived with, and the small group to instructor ratio was great. It was cool to swim so close to sharks

Response from the operator: Hi Nikki, Thank you so much for your wonderful 5-star review! 🙏 It was a pleasure having you and your husband join us for the dives. We’re really glad that the adjustment to the dive plan worked well for you. Safety and comfort always come first, and it means a lot that you appreciated the communication and care. Our small-group approach is designed exactly for this: to give every diver the best possible experience underwater. Shark Caves are a special places, and we’re happy you enjoyed being so close to those beautiful sharks. 🦈✨ We hope to dive with you again on your next trip to Bali! Warm regards, ZERO GRAVITY DIVING Team

Exceeding expectations

We had a fantastic experience diving with this dive center in Bali and couldn’t recommend them more highly! On our first day, we dove with one of the team members, who was incredibly nice and made it clear that safety was a top priority. From the moment we checked in, we felt confident and well cared for. The next day, we headed out for three dives in Nusa Penida, and we were blown away again. The center has the largest dive boat in the harbor, which made the often bumpy crossing super smooth and comfortable. Once again, the focus on safety and professionalism stood out. The crew was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. A few unexpected hiccups came up—my new fins were rubbing a blister on my heel, and one of the staff stepped in with a different strap that completely saved my second dive. My husband was also having a slight issue with his transmitter leaking, and a team member took the time to troubleshoot and fix it with him between dives. It’s that kind of above-and-beyond service that really sets this operation apart. Not to mention, the lunch provided was absolutely delicious, which is always a bonus after a day in the water. If you’re planning to dive in Nusa Penida, this dive company should be your first choice. The level of care, safety, and service is unmatched.

Response from the operator: Dear Wilsons, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful and generous review! We’re absolutely thrilled to hear that your diving experience with us exceeded expectations, both at Biaha Shark Cave and during your Nusa Penida dives. It means a lot to us that you felt safe, supported, and well looked after—those are the pillars we build everything around. We're especially glad our team could assist with the fin issue and transmitter on the fly. Diving comfort and safety go hand in hand, and we're always happy to go the extra mile to make sure everything runs smoothly underwater and on the surface. And yes—good food after a dive is essential, so we’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the lunch too! It was truly a pleasure having both of you dive with us, and we hope to welcome you back for more Bali underwater adventures sometime soon. Warm regards, The Zero Gravity Diving Team 🌊

Great Dive Centre

Great dive centre! Did two days diving with them - one day nusa penida and the other shark cave. Dived with Nikola and Branko who were great at showing the wildlife and all the best spots. Well organised, good communication and good lunches on the boat (also cater for vegetarians). My gf came with us on the Nusa Penida trip to do some snorkeling and they were great with her as she can be a bit of a nervous swimmer. Would highly recommend to anyone diving in Bali to book with Zero Gravity and would definitely dive with them again if I come back.

Response from the operator: Dear Max, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with Zero Gravity Diving. We are really happy to read that you are satisfied with our service. It was our pleasure to have you and your girlfriend diving and snorkeling with us. We are very grateful to you for recommending us. Looking forward to welcoming you back on your next diving vacation. Best Regards from Zero Gravity Diving Bali Team.

Shark Cave Diving Tangked and Biaha 2 dives for certified divers: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kuta.

How much does Shark Cave Diving Tangked and Biaha 2 dives for certified divers cost?

+

Prices start at $180 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kuta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Shark Cave Diving Tangked and Biaha 2 dives for certified divers take?

+

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kuta is not rushed.

Is Shark Cave Diving Tangked and Biaha 2 dives for certified divers worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kuta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Shark Cave Diving Tangked and Biaha 2 dives for certified divers?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Shark Cave Diving Tangked and Biaha 2 dives for certified divers suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 9-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Shark Cave Diving Tangked and Biaha 2 dives for certified divers?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kuta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kuta and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Shark Cave Diving Tangked and Biaha 2 dives for certified divers start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kuta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kuta?

+

On Outty we rank every Kuta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include East Bali Tour: Gate of Heaven, Water Palace, Sleeping Gajah, Ubud Day Tour: Sacred Monkey Forest, Tegenungan Waterfall, Rice Terrace, Ubud Private Tour - All Inclusive Premium Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kuta?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kuta?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
