Great and safe option
Great vans, clean and efficient. Loved the organization and flexibility to book. Would definitely recommend and use them next time. Booking was easy and trip was smooth.

We were called and texted multiple times BEFORE the scheduled pickup time, being told that we were late and that the driver would leave without us. When I explained over the phone that we were running to the meeting point but were still about two minutes away, the driver scolded us and insisted that we needed to be outside “NOW.” We then asked if we could be dropped off at our hotel instead, but we were not allowed to change the drop-off location. As a result, we ended up stuck in traffic for an additional hour. What was especially frustrating was that when we were picked up by the same driver a few days earlier, he was 15 minutes late himself, and multiple passengers were also late. We waited patiently during that situation, and the driver was never upset or rude toward the other passengers. The way we were treated felt completely unnecessary and inconsistent, especially considering the driver had previously been late himself. We understand the importance of staying on schedule, but the repeated calls, rude tone, and lack of flexibility made the experience very unpleasant.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your detailed feedback, we take every review seriously. Our records show that our vehicle arrived on time and waited at the designated meeting point. When we contacted you, you confirmed you were still on your way. Our policy does ask travelers to be ready 15 minutes before the scheduled pickup, as shared shuttles operate on fixed timetables with other passengers onboard. Regarding the drop-off change to the Hilton Guatemala City, unfortunately that location falls outside our service coverage area for this route, which is why the team wasn't able to accommodate the request. That said, I hear you on the tone of the communication. Regardless of the circumstances, our team should always be professional and respectful, and I'm addressing that directly with the driver involved. I'd like to make this right. Great company and customer service!
I needed to catch the last shuttle, and was unfortunately late due to another transfer delay. Aurora from the customer service really did her best to help me still catch the last shuttle, by actively communicating with the driver and me, to coordinate a ad hoc new pick up spot. Super grateful, thanks teamxx
Response from the operator: Hi, thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're glad to hear we could help you make your transfer despite the unexpected delay. It’s wonderful to know that Aurora went above and beyond to assist you, coordinating with both you and the driver to arrange an alternative pickup point and help you catch your last shuttle. Comments like yours help our team continue improving the guateGO experience for travelers across Latin America. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back on your next trip! Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Antigua.
How much does Shared Transportation from Antigua to Guatemala City cost?

Prices start at $24 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Antigua usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Shared Transportation from Antigua to Guatemala City take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Antigua is not rushed.
Is Shared Transportation from Antigua to Guatemala City worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Antigua, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Shared Transportation from Antigua to Guatemala City?

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Shared Transportation from Antigua to Guatemala City suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Shared Transportation from Antigua to Guatemala City?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Antigua can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Antigua and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Shared Transportation from Antigua to Guatemala City start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Antigua within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Antigua?
+
On Outty we rank every Antigua experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Coffee and Gastronomic Bike Tour in Antigua, Antigua ATV Mountain Adventure, Antigua ATV Sunset Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Antigua?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Antigua?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
