missed flight
waited 20 minutes on our driver to pick us up. then told him our airline and flight time and that if we didn’t go soon we would miss our flight and he proceeded to sit at the port for over an hour waiting on more people in which we told him 2 more times we were going to miss our flight and he told us he would get us there on time. he didn’t and we had to pay $200 to get another flight and sit at the airport for 6 hours.
Response from the operator: sorry to hear that but 20 minutes is the normal wait at the port of miami because the traffic at the port is not us if you missed your flight is not because 20 minutes you need to get your flight with time thanks

Unprofessional
I booked this shuttle to transport 4 people from Port of Miami to Fort Lauderdale Airport on 7/24/26. I recieved a call that the shuttle was there and then a video call showing me where to go. We met the shuttle and the driver put all our bags into a trailer before we boarded the bus. Once on the bus there was only 1 seat available. The driver pulled off before we could request a get off and while 3 people were still standing. It was too late at that point so myself and another friend sat in the middle of the aisle while a 3rd friend stood. After a few minutes the driver seemed to realize there were not enough seats. He motioned for the standing friend to sit in the passenger seat. A nice gentleman made room for me by having his wife sit in his lap and the remaining friend was given a pillow to sit on, on the floor for the remainder of the trip. This was a 45 minute ride in an overly crowded bus with no AC reaching the back. The driver was weaving through traffic while on his phone as well. I found this expire very unprofessional as the driver should be counting the number of people he is picking up. They also did not ask for any type of reservation information verifying everyone was on the correct shuttle. Thankfully we made it safely but I will not be using this service again.

Great trip from the port of Miami to Fort Lauderdale airport
Jose and Roberto arrived early and got us to the airport in plenty of time to relax before our flight. They were pleasant and made a 50 minute trip go by in no time at all! Booking another transport in September and hope to have either of these gentlemen as our transport driver!
Response from the operator: thanks

Why this scores 44
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Shared Shuttle from Port of Miami to Fort Lauderdale Airport: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Miami.
How much does Shared Shuttle from Port of Miami to Fort Lauderdale Airport cost?
+
Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Miami usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Shared Shuttle from Port of Miami to Fort Lauderdale Airport take?
+
Plan for about 0.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Miami is not rushed.
Is Shared Shuttle from Port of Miami to Fort Lauderdale Airport worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 44 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (2.6/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Miami, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Shared Shuttle from Port of Miami to Fort Lauderdale Airport?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Shared Shuttle from Port of Miami to Fort Lauderdale Airport suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Shared Shuttle from Port of Miami to Fort Lauderdale Airport?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Miami can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Miami and add a light layer if any part of the 0.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Shared Shuttle from Port of Miami to Fort Lauderdale Airport start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Miami within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Miami?
+
Miami splits between the water and the neighbourhoods. Biscayne Bay boat tours, Key Biscayne snorkelling and Everglades airboats cover the first, while Wynwood mural walks, Little Havana food crawls and South Beach deco tours cover the second. We rank Everglades operators carefully: many depart from Miami but the good ones run their own boats rather than reselling seats. On Outty we rank every Miami experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 hrs Miami Private Boat with Cooler, Ice, Bluetooth Stereo, Little Havana Food and Walking Tour in Miami, Miami: 2 Hour Private Yacht Cruise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Miami?
+
November to April, dry season, before hurricane and humidity months. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Miami?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
