    Go with Uber

My sister booked a round trip for two for a total of $36.00 from Cancun airport to Royalton Chic. I booked the same airport transfer for 2, the same dates and was charged $72.00. They ask for YOUR flight times, but they choose when there going to pick you up. Our return flight was at 2pm. They said our pickup time was at 9am. We requested for a later time, and they said we would have to book a new reservation for $35 private transportation. Long story short. Uber is just as convenient and much cheaper.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to detail your experience, though we are deeply sorry to read about your frustration regarding the pricing and pickup scheduling. Alejandro Vazquez – Senior Director of Customer Success, NexusTours

Excellent Service by Karina at Riu Ventura!

Excellent Service by Karina at Riu Ventura! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Riu Ventura, and a huge reason for that was Karina. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly welcoming, warm, and helpful. She effortlessly guided us through various processes and made sure everything went smoothly during our stay. When we were looking to book an excursion, we told her we wanted to go snorkeling, and the specific trip she recommended turned out to be the absolute highlight of our vacation—it was the best experience we could have asked for! What truly blew us away was her dedication. Even on her day off, she remained available to help us via phone chat whenever we needed assistance. That level of care and commitment is rare and so deeply appreciated. We highly recommend anyone staying at Riu Ventura to connect with Karina to ensure your needs are fully taken care of. We are incredibly grateful for everything she did for us and will definitely look for her when we return! Thank you so much, Karina!

As a professional TA, they won't have my business.

As a travel agent who previously booked Nexus for clients, I will no longer use or recommend their services. Reliable transportation and responsive customer service are basic expectations, and Nexus failed on both counts. My sister and I had pre-booked airport transfers through Nexus and waited more than three hours after arriving for transportation that never came. We were repeatedly given conflicting information by different representatives and ultimately told no shuttle was available. We had to pay out of pocket for a taxi and missed an important wedding event because of the delay. What is even more disappointing is that after three months of follow-up, Nexus has still failed to resolve the issue or provide meaningful compensation.

Nexus tours was our representative from the airport and at the hotel. Angeles was so pleasant to deal with and helpful with all our excursions booking. Definitely gave us the best pricing. This company is highly recommended when in Cancun Mexico.

Shared Round-Trip Transfer To/From Cancun International Airport: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.

How much does Shared Round-Trip Transfer To/From Cancun International Airport cost?

    +

Prices start at $23 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Shared Round-Trip Transfer To/From Cancun International Airport take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.

Is Shared Round-Trip Transfer To/From Cancun International Airport worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.2/5 across 243 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Shared Round-Trip Transfer To/From Cancun International Airport?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Shared Round-Trip Transfer To/From Cancun International Airport suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Shared Round-Trip Transfer To/From Cancun International Airport?

    +

Around 85 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Shared Round-Trip Transfer To/From Cancun International Airport start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cancun?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cancun?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cancun?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
