We'll explore the history of the Jewish people in Argentina, from its colonial times to modernity. As we navigate the history of a 200,000+ collective, we'll explore the neighborhoods of Once, Tribunales and Retiro. We'll go beyond religious tradition as we explore how politics and the broad history of Argentina shaped and made it's Jewish population into what it is today. Throughout our action-packed tour, we'll see AMIA, known as "the mother institution" of Jewish life in Argentina, which was targeted by a terrorist attack in the 90s, and visit the Jewish Museum and Libertad Synagogue. We will explore Once, a Jewish neighborhood and bulk trading district, strolling through synagogues, quinceañera party supply shops and fabric vendors. We will go to what we call "Diversity Corner": a place where just by standing 5 minutes, you'll witness all the diversity BA can showcase. Please remember to bring your original passport, and comfortable shoes as we'll be walking over 4 kilometres!

OK
Then tour was ok. Nothing more then that. The guide was lovely and knowledgeable. She was a young lady from the community and she did the best she could. There was a lot of walking to show us very little. The Museum was appalling. The Synagogue was nice. We were not offered some of the inclusions: Ticket to IWO - the largest Jewish Archive in LATAM Entry/Admission - Fundación IWO We did not get the offer of: We'll stop by a kosher bakery to use the restroom and for an optional grab-and-go coffe and pastries We would have been so grateful for this type of stop and would have also loved to buy the guide a coffee and pastry. We were all fading from so much walking and talking without really experiencing anything of substance. A small break would have been greatly appreciated (At our own cost).
Response from the operator: Hi! Thank you for your review. Please note that as is detailed on our your booking details, the IWO visits had not yet started for your itinerary. They will start on Oct 14th - this is why the only option available for your tour date was "Jewish Tour without IWO". It's exactly because of exactly this kind of invaluable feedback we decided to do a relaunch of this experience starting on that date, to complement the Jewish Museum (which we agre can be updated) with an IWO visit and to include a quick stop to recharge at a bakery. Thanks for your feedback!

Informative and helpful
It was very informative about the history and situation of Jews in Buenos Aires. The synagogue and museum were very informative and helpful.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! We hope to see you again next time!

Guide was nice but didn't...
Guide was nice but didn't feel she delved into history of Jews as much as I would've like. But did provide other general background info on Argentina, not specific to Jewish settlement and life
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review.

Too important to be chill
We did get informed abt bringing a passport via text, or regular email so missed part of the experience.:( Leader was not well organized and did not seem professional. Seemed sweet but not a great resource. We have taken a Jewish tours elsewhere and leaders seemed more mature and informed.
Response from the operator: The guide for this tour was Melanie, who has consistently earned over 30 5 star reviews in the last year for her outstanding tours. Unfortunately, this guest did not bring their passport (after we messaged them about it two different times), left the tour early, and then proceeded to request a refund on the grounds of the guides' shirt having creases (!). After we denied the request for a refund, this guest left a 2 star review - the lowest this tour has ever gotten, on any platform. Please make of this what you will - we stand by our team in this case.

Shared Jewish Walking Tour - visit museums, archives and temples: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.
How much does Shared Jewish Walking Tour - visit museums, archives and temples cost?
+
Prices start at $105 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Shared Jewish Walking Tour - visit museums, archives and temples take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.
Is Shared Jewish Walking Tour - visit museums, archives and temples worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 35 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Shared Jewish Walking Tour - visit museums, archives and temples?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Shared Jewish Walking Tour - visit museums, archives and temples suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Shared Jewish Walking Tour - visit museums, archives and temples?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Shared Jewish Walking Tour - visit museums, archives and temples start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buenos Aires within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?
+
On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
