Don’t Risk It - We almost missed our return flight because of transportation that didn’t show up
We booked our vacation to St. Lucia using Sunwing/Nexus Tours in order to save some money compared to other name brand airline packages. We didn’t use them for anything but transportation and accommodation booking - we did everything else through our resort. The transfer from the airport to the resort was adequate though in a very rundown van. Our return transportation just didn’t show up. 8 of us were at the resort waiting for the 1.5 hour trip to the airport and the van didn’t come. After 45 minutes of waiting I called Nexus Tours and they told me to call back in 10 minutes (terrible customer service). I called back in 10 minutes and they said they hadn’t heard from the driver, and instructed us all to book our own transportation and that we would be reimbursed. 8 of us split the $200 USD shuttle fee that our resort was able to organize for us last minute - thankfully the resort was helpful and we all made our flight on time. It has taken two months for a resolution from Sunwing/Nexus Tours customer service. At the end of the day, they declined to reimburse the $50 USD I claimed for me and my fiancée’s shuttle. They offered me a travel voucher on good faith but I never intend on booking with them again. The day of our return flight was the spring time change and they blamed the late transfer on that…which is unacceptable as the airports don’t have the same ability to make similar excuses and if we missed our flight we would have been stuck there for two more days. I’m disappointed that our vacation ended up with a fair amount of stress, and I’m disappointed that Nexus Tours isn’t being accountable and reimbursing me the money they promised me over the phone. I would recommend considering other providers and having some additional peace of mind for anybody considering this company.

Perfect lady driver
Lovely driver she was excellent why should I say more why there is a minimum of 53 characters I have no idea and it would really would. I would probably next time not do this review only because the lady was really good. I would like to give her a good feedback.

Do Not Trust Nexus Tours
I was very, very disappointed with this transfer to the airport from hotel. When I booked my returned trip, it was scheduled for pickup at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23rd. Everything was confirmed and I have my receipt to prove it. Well on Sunday, I was supposed to meet with the representative of Nexustours to go over the details on pickup. We were suppose to meet at 3:30 p,m. I went to front desk and they had no idea what I was speaking of. I gave them the card that was given to me from the same company when I arrived. The hotel rep called the representative and was told that she couldn't make it at that time and she would be there at 5;30 instead. I informed them that I would not be there at the time. The representative never called or left a message. I called Viator to confirm my time since that's who I paid through and they said my pick up time was 9:55 a. m. on Tuesday. I said my information states 11 a.m. We kept going back and forth. Finally, I talked to the representative from Nexus and she told me that she would speak to her manager. She then said they said the lastest they could pick me up is 10:30 because they had 2 other passengers to pick up from another hotel. Well, the driver was there at 10 and I was the only one in the car on the entire ride to airport. I would not recommend them to anyone because they are LIARS!

Tout Bagay volcano and mud bath
Tout Bagay tour. One to definitely go and see. Booked with the lovely lady Heidi from Nexus tours. Left the Royalton hotel by mini bus down to Rodney Bay then on a catamaran to the Soufriere where you see the Pitons. Firstly you go to Toraille waterfall but be warned it’s cold but fun! Then you have the chance to pick either the mud bath or the volcano tour. My wife did the mud bath with one son while I did the volcano with our other son. Both had enjoyable experiences. The tours last about twenty minutes on each one and then you go for a snack at a restaurant. Then it’s back to the boat with plenty of refreshments on board and where after a short while you get the chance to go snorkelling plenty of fish to see but not enough snorkels so bring your own if you have one! Once we set off again they pull into Marigot Bay for a few minutes then it’s back to Rodney Bay and the Hotel. It was around an 8 hour trip but certainly would highly recommend to anyone. Well done to Nexus St Lucia and the crew on the catamaran.

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Shared Departure Transfer: Hotel to Saint Lucia International Airport: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Castries.
How much does Shared Departure Transfer: Hotel to Saint Lucia International Airport cost?
+
Prices start at $12 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Castries usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Shared Departure Transfer: Hotel to Saint Lucia International Airport take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Castries is not rushed.
Is Shared Departure Transfer: Hotel to Saint Lucia International Airport worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Castries, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Shared Departure Transfer: Hotel to Saint Lucia International Airport?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Shared Departure Transfer: Hotel to Saint Lucia International Airport suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Shared Departure Transfer: Hotel to Saint Lucia International Airport?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Castries can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Castries and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Shared Departure Transfer: Hotel to Saint Lucia International Airport start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Castries within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Castries?
+
On Outty we rank every Castries experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ATV Tour in St Lucia, St Lucia Highlights Tour, Waterfall and Beach Safari in Santa Lucia. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Castries?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Castries?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
