Truffa! They charge you crazy amounts without service. In Spain avoid taking anything with Pancho Tour. Even tickets at the Royal Palace in Madrid cost almost triple

    Horrible

I booked this tour last minute when I learned there would be a heatwave in Seville. I had plans for a group tour and thought this private tour listed earlier in the day would be much better. While I was booking there was nothing that told me the booking was contingent. So I booked entering all information and my credit card was charged. Only after doing this did I cancel the reservations I had for a group tour with another company. Only after this did I get an email saying my booking was pending and would receive confirmation in 48 hours. I did not think much of this but then my booking was denied! No place before I booked said this was a possibility. I was then left scrambling trying to book tickets on my own. Very poor service . I will try not to use viator again

Left the tour 15 minutes in.

Sadly we had a poor experience on the private tour of the Alcazar. We were 15 minutes just getting inside because many guests were given the wrong tickets. So the tour billed as 1.5 hours started 15 minutes late. My partner stayed for the full tour and it finished at 18:15 so in reality lasted just 1 hour. The other 3 of us handed back our “whisper” earpieces after about 10 minutes because the guide was poor. I am sure he was trying to appeal across the board but his delivery was too juvenile and every other word he used was “guys” as in “hey guys can you see a lion/castle/shield?” We ultimately learned more from the descriptions displayed in the individual rooms. I also found it difficult to hear what the guide was saying as with just one ear piece you had to block the other ear in order to hear. This tour was a waste of money.

Response from the operator: We are very sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your experience with us! To check what could have happened, we need to know what the tour was, what day, what time and the booking email. Thanks!

    Alcázar tour only

After a hassle trying to book on-line from the USA, we went with Pancho Tours for an Alcázar-only visit at 9:30am. Although the cost of the tour and admission was quite high ($75 for us both,) our guide, Lena (sp?) could not have been better. Witty, interactive and attentive, she supplied details which the guidebooks and placards do not include. After the tour, we were free to wander the Alcázar which we did for four hours. Sadly, we could not get to the upstairs residences. But if you stand crowds and love history or architecture, this is worth the time and expense.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your review! I am glad you really enjoyed the experience!

Seville Private Tour to the Royal Alcazar and Cathedral: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seville.

How much does Seville Private Tour to the Royal Alcazar and Cathedral cost?

    +

Prices start at $10 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Seville Private Tour to the Royal Alcazar and Cathedral take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seville is not rushed.

Is Seville Private Tour to the Royal Alcazar and Cathedral worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 41 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Seville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Seville Private Tour to the Royal Alcazar and Cathedral?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Seville Private Tour to the Royal Alcazar and Cathedral suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Seville Private Tour to the Royal Alcazar and Cathedral?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seville and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Seville Private Tour to the Royal Alcazar and Cathedral start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seville?

    +

On Outty we rank every Seville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Seville Tapas Crawl Tour by Food Lover Tour, Seville: Paella & Tapas Cooking Class + Triana Market Tour, Sevilla Food Tour: Tapas, Wine, History & Traditions. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seville?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seville?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
