Rila 7 lake tour, lunch and spa
What an Amazing day!! I booked the Rila 7 lake tour with lunch and spa pools. Simeon picked Me up from my apartment then onwards bound, the hike was very rewarding as the views are absolutely fabulous and breathe takingly stunning. The lunch in the local restaurant was delicious and went down great with a nice glass of wine all whilst taking more great views then a nice relax, max and futher chillax in the spa pool, from natural mineral waters from the geezer just down the road. I felt like a new woman for sure!! Afterwards Simeon dropped me back to my apartment. Simeon was a great host, with all the equipment needed, knowledge of the area and very friendly who made us feel very comfortable in his company. Thank You Simeon, definitely a day I will not forget!!

Definitely worth doing
I went with my mum and another 2 people on the tour. As it was such a small group it was very relaxed and we could choose the length/difficultly of the hike as well as how long we wanted to stay at the spa. Simeon and his colleague were both lovely and very accommodating. On the day we went out, the chair lift was €16 each and the spa entrance was €10 each.

A superb day from A to Z
From the hotel pick-up to the return the day was beautiful. The guide was very friendly and very open, they taught us a lot about Bulgaria, so we first drove, then took the chairlift (at your expense) to get to the top. Here the guide offers us several hiking routes according to our level, we chose the one that leads to the viewpoint. Arriving there the band wanted to turn around but the guide kindly proposed to continue a little further solo (because I was not full). So I continued on my own then joined them on the way back. We were finally able to eat at the chalet in the mountains (don’t expect great food). Finally we went back down then took the road to the spa. I thought that the spa was optional and took no business...once again the guide kindly offered to go see a (magnificent) waterfall with him while the others were at the spa. In the end the whole group was happy with their day, everything went well as planned, a day full of beautiful memories!

6/5 Recommend
Pick-up: 5/5 Simeon arrived about 20 minutes early but didn’t announce it, so I could walk to the car at my own pace as agreed. This made the start of the day very relaxed and comfortable. Ride: 5/5 We were a small group of five people, which made the ride very enjoyable. Simeon and his colleague were friendly, positive and very talkative, creating a great atmosphere in the car. Mountain tour: 5/5 Everything was explained clearly and carefully. The group was split so everyone could walk at their own pace, with one guide at the front and one at the back. The climb was challenging but absolutely beautiful, easily worth a 5/5 on its own. Lunch: 5/5 We stopped at a local restaurant at the foot of the mountain. I asked to be surprised and was served meat with potatoes and roasted peppers. It was outstanding and one of the best meals I’ve had in Bulgaria so far. Spa: 5/5 After the hike we visited a geyser spa with multiple pools at different temperatures. The perfect place to relax after a long climb. Overall: 5/5 The tour officially ended at 4:00 PM, but we returned to the hotel around 7:30 PM. Simeon never rushed us and truly enjoyed the experience together with the group. Summary: An excellently organized tour with personal attention, flexible pacing, great food and a relaxing spa. Highly recommended.

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Seven Rila Lakes Guided Hike from Sofia with Lunch and Hot spring: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sofia.
How much does Seven Rila Lakes Guided Hike from Sofia with Lunch and Hot spring cost?
+
Prices start at $130 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sofia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Seven Rila Lakes Guided Hike from Sofia with Lunch and Hot spring take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sofia is not rushed.
Is Seven Rila Lakes Guided Hike from Sofia with Lunch and Hot spring worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sofia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Seven Rila Lakes Guided Hike from Sofia with Lunch and Hot spring?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Seven Rila Lakes Guided Hike from Sofia with Lunch and Hot spring suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Seven Rila Lakes Guided Hike from Sofia with Lunch and Hot spring?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sofia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sofia and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Seven Rila Lakes Guided Hike from Sofia with Lunch and Hot spring start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sofia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sofia?
+
On Outty we rank every Sofia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Communist Walking Tour of Sofia, Sofia Highlights 2 Hour Sightseeing Walking Tour, Sofia Escape Room - Teorema Rooms. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sofia?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sofia?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
