A super reliable tour operator for our Korean tour

I am so happy we chose This is Korea Tours for our Korean vacation. Harry was so supportive from the very beginning of the trip planning until the very last mile of it. Our guides were well prepared, spoke a very good English and had the right balance between guiding us and letting some spare time. The drivers were also perfect, always on perfect time and with super new cars. We had a 1 week tour of Korea and everything was just perfect! I would definitely recommend This is Korea Tours to anyone willing to visit!

Best tour guide in Seoul.

Joe was the best decision we made for our Seoul trip - especially with kids in tow. He was endlessly patient with our little ones, never once rushing us, and somehow kept everyone happy and entertained from pickup to drop-off. He took us to so many places - the big sights, yes, but also hidden corners we'd never have found on our own. He adjusted the day around the kids' energy levels, knew exactly when to keep moving and when to slow down, and made every stop feel effortless for us as parents. The van was clean, comfy, and always stocked with water. His English was great, and his stories brought Seoul to life for all of us. If you're traveling with family, book Joe. He's patient, professional, and genuinely kind - worth every won. We'll absolutely use him again.

Great Experience & Wonderful Guide

We had an amazing experience in our tour around S. Korea with This is Korea Tours. We travelled around the country for 2.5 weeks with them. Our guide, Joe, was wonderful. He was so kind, patient and accommodating. His vehicle was super comfortable and spacious. He always made sure that we were enjoying ourselves and allowed us to make slight adjustments to the itinerary as needed. The country is beautiful, and touring it with a great local guide made it even better. Joe was so helpful in translating for us and taking us to local places to eat, etc. I would highly recommend this tour company and specifically our driver/guide, Joe.

Seoul: Fully Customizable Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.

How much does Seoul: Fully Customizable Private Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $79 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Seoul: Fully Customizable Private Tour take?

+

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seoul is not rushed.

Is Seoul: Fully Customizable Private Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 83 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 208 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Seoul: Fully Customizable Private Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Seoul: Fully Customizable Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Seoul: Fully Customizable Private Tour?

+

Around 73 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Seoul: Fully Customizable Private Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seoul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seoul?

+

On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seoul?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seoul?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
