About this experience

Chimaek, fried chicken and beer, is close to a national pastime in Korea, and this walk hits three spots with three completely different personalities. First stop is a retro '90s-style pub serving crispy fried chicken with ice-cold beer, simple and nostalgic. Second is a country-style tavern with smoky barbecued chicken sizzling on a hot plate alongside classic sides. Third is a quirky WWII-themed bar serving spicy boneless chicken smothered in melted cheese, beers poured into military canteen cups under some genuinely strange decor. All food and drink are included in the price. ✅ Solo-friendly | ✅ Female traveler-friendly | ✅ LGBTQ+ friendly

Exceptional Tour - Definitely treat yourself to this experience!

We had an absolutely fantastic time on the Chicken and Beer tour! Simon was our guide and took us to the most delicous places! Our first stop was so incredible, we went back the next night to really indulge ourselves. (We were pacing ourselves for the rest of the evening on the tour!) The food was perfect, the environment was real, local, not touristy. Simon was a wonderful guide too. So full of stories and information. A real gentlemen too for one of the tour members. He carried her gigantic Olive Young bag for her! :) We were a family of three with our young adult son and we all loved this tour. All three restaurants were special, delicious and abundant in their offerings. We had plenty of soju too and it was delicious. I highly recommend this tour!! We will definitely check out some of their other experiences next time we visit!

Response from the operator: Round two at the first stop the very next night says more than any five stars could. Glad the family pacing worked out across generations, and Simon carrying that bag is just him being Simon, we didn't script that one either.

Best night out with Jeff!

Jeff was awesome, one of the best guides I have ever had. He read the group immediately and tailored the perfect tour. He was engaging, told amazing stories, and made us all feel like true locals for a night. Thanks, Jeff!

Response from the operator: Thanks, John. Jeff is especially good at reading the room and adjusting the evening to fit the group instead of forcing everyone through the same script. That's exactly how a Korean night out with friends should feel, and I'll be sure to pass your kind words along to him.

Great food Tour

Great experience! Jeff ist very knowledgable and fun. Great Insights in korean food variety. 100% Recommendation.

Response from the operator: Jeff has a dangerous amount of knowledge about Korean drinking food and very little hesitation about sharing all of it. Korean pub food goes far deeper than most visitors expect, especially once you get outside the chain places and into neighborhoods where people actually spend their evenings. Appreciate you joining Jeff for the crawl and trusting your dinner plans to him.

What a great experience!!

What a great night!! Jeff our tour guide was superb. He was full of enthusiasm and great insights. My wife and I really enjoyed all of the different dishes. When there are SO MANY options for food Jeff knows just where to go. Meandering through the streets and markets is what we came to Korea for. Learning some phrases in Korean and the proper way to drink with strangers and friends is the “icing on the cake”.

Response from the operator: Sounds like you experienced it exactly how it’s meant to be. Jeff has a knack for navigating all those choices and turning it into a proper night out, not just a food stop. Glad you got into the rhythm of the streets, the food, and even the drinking culture a bit.

Amazing chicken and beer tour

Wonderful tour with Joe to three places for chicken and beer. All places were great both from the atmosphere and the food.

Response from the operator: Glad you enjoyed the line up. We love showing off those neighborhood spots, and chicken and beer always taste better when each stop has its own vibe.

Seoul Fried Chicken & Beer Night, Three Neighborhood Stops: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.

How much does Seoul Fried Chicken & Beer Night, Three Neighborhood Stops cost?

+

Prices start at $28 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Seoul Fried Chicken & Beer Night, Three Neighborhood Stops take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seoul is not rushed.

Is Seoul Fried Chicken & Beer Night, Three Neighborhood Stops worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 53 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Seoul Fried Chicken & Beer Night, Three Neighborhood Stops?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Seoul Fried Chicken & Beer Night, Three Neighborhood Stops suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Seoul Fried Chicken & Beer Night, Three Neighborhood Stops?

+

Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Seoul Fried Chicken & Beer Night, Three Neighborhood Stops start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seoul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seoul?

+

On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seoul?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seoul?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
