Great day exploring Seoul with Eundam

We had such a great time with Eundam! She was super sweet and made us feel really comfortable from the start. Her English was great, and she knew so much about the places we visited, which made the whole experience even better. We went to Changdeokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village and Insadong with her She also brought her camera and took some really nice photos of us, which was such a lovely touch! Would definitely recommend her.

Like Exploring Seoul with a Friend

I was lucky enough to grab last-minute tickets to see my favorite K-pop group, which also meant planning a VERY last-minute solo trip to Seoul. Somewhere over the Pacific, I stumbled across this tour company through an Instagram reel and decided to fill out the inquiry form for a private tour. I was completely unprepared for my trip, but I wanted to make the absolute most of it. Through a few emails with the tour coordinator, Jade, she put together an incredible itinerary that combined some of my favorite K-pop idol content locations with some of Seoul's most popular sights. I was already so excited, and honestly didn't think the experience could get any better... until I met my guide, Juno. Juno was absolutely amazing. He was kind, welcoming, incredibly knowledgeable, and his excellent English made it so easy to ask questions and chat throughout the day. You could really tell how much Juno loves Seoul, and getting to experience the city through someone who was so excited to share it made the whole day that much better. Spending the entire day together truly felt less like being on a tour and more like getting to walk around Seoul with a friend. Since I was traveling solo, I couldn't have asked for a better guide. Spending the day with someone so welcoming made exploring a new city feel easy and fun! We wandered through Insadong to visit a shrine and try five-flavor tea (highly recommend!), stopped at a neighborhood lunch spot packed with locals for what may have been the best kimchi jjigae I've ever had (still thinking about this meal!), rode the cable car up to Namsan Tower (definitely a tourist must-do!), shopped around in Myeongdong (where I spent way too much money!), and finished the day at Gwangjang Market with one of the best donuts I've ever had (another must try!). Along the way, Juno shared so much about the city and gave me fantastic recommendations for places to visit during the rest of my trip and on future visits to Seoul. It was the middle of July, so the heat was no joke, and I was a little worried about spending so much time walking outside. Juno checked in with me throughout the day, made sure we went at a pace that was comfortable for me, and genuinely cared that I was having a great experience. This is a day I'll treasure forever. If you're considering a private tour, I can't recommend it enough—and if you have the chance to request Juno as your guide, do it. He is truly exceptional at what he does, and thanks to him, my first trip to Seoul became one of my favorite travel memories.

Response from the operator: Oh my god, thank you so much, Alexa. You really made my day. I have already relayed your warm message to Jade and Juno and they are all very happy to hear that you enjoyed the experience with us. We hope you enjoy the rest of your stay and our paths cross again in the near future. Thank you again!

Perfect day in Seoul

We had the best tour ever! I scheduled this tour at the end of our trip when I knew it would be nice to have someone else show us around. What a great decision, we were not disappointed. Our group had a variety of interests and there was something for all of us. Art, history, culture and even Kpop. What a great day moving around the city to places we wouldn’t have gone on our own. Our guide, Eundam, was so knowledgeable and we had an amazing time with her. By the end of the day she felt like our friend in Korea! If you want to take a great tour I would highly recommend this. Always getting the best experience with Goodmate and the tours they put together.

Seoul Customized Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.

How much does Seoul Customized Private Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $81 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Seoul Customized Private Tour take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seoul is not rushed.

Is Seoul Customized Private Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Seoul Customized Private Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Seoul Customized Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Seoul Customized Private Tour?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Seoul Customized Private Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seoul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seoul?

+

On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seoul?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seoul?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
