    Must not miss this tour!

This tour was the highlight of my entire trip to Seoul. Jeff was incredible at bringing the full sense of Korean culture and social dynamics into the experience. It wasn’t just about the food;it was about the people and the history. Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: What a compliment. Jeff is at his best when the conversation around the table becomes as important as what’s on the grill. Korean BBQ makes a lot more sense once you understand the social rules behind it, and it sounds like he gave you the full picture. Thanks for spending the evening with us, Janine!

    Best possible tour experience

This was the absolute highlight of my Seoul trip! Jeff provided us with an in depth experience and understanding of Korean culture and food all while being fun and engaging. His passion for the Korean people and his openness to everyone in the group made for an intimate yet fun filled evening. Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Jeff has a real talent for turning dinner into a conversation about how Korea actually works, and we’re glad that came through so strongly. The best evenings are when everyone at the table feels comfortable enough to eat, drink, ask questions, and get to know each other along the way. Thanks so much for joining us, Janine!

    Wonderful Foodie Experience!

This experience was an incredible way to get a glimpse into not only Korean BBQ etiquette but intricacies of Korean culture in general in just a couple of hours. My mom and I both had fun, and learned so much, all thanks to our wonderful guide Jeff! He clearly had a wealth of knowledge and lived experience as well as infectious enthusiasm for food and culture. We will certainly be recommending this to our friends and family back home.

Response from the operator: Thanks, Zeynep. Jeff has a lot of lived experience to draw from, and he’s particularly good at explaining the little social rules around Korean food that visitors might otherwise miss. It’s great to hear that you and your mom had such a good evening with him.

    Great Food!

The food was amazing and we loved the stories our guide shared. Overall a great experience that showed us some of the best food in the country.

Response from the operator: Good food and good stories tend to go hand in hand on that route, glad both delivered. That's really the combination the whole night is built around.

Let’s Eat Like the Locals do!

We had a great time experiencing local restaurants in Seoul. Finding food as a tourist often means going to the ones that can advertise more. But Joe was able to take us to some local places that we never would have stepped into - giving us an authentic experience. This came with his vast knowledge of food and history of Korea. Joe is a warm and welcoming host as we laughed, talked, ate and drank our way through 3 local stops. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it!

Response from the operator: That's the whole point, honestly. The places that can afford flashy signs and English menus aren't usually the ones worth your stomach space. Glad you got to laugh your way through it too, some of my favorite nights are the ones where the food almost becomes secondary to the conversation. That was a fun night :)

Seoul: Anthony Bourdain Pork BBQ & Pub Night, Seoul: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.

How much does Seoul: Anthony Bourdain Pork BBQ & Pub Night, Seoul cost?

    +

Prices start at $133 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Seoul: Anthony Bourdain Pork BBQ & Pub Night, Seoul take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seoul is not rushed.

Is Seoul: Anthony Bourdain Pork BBQ & Pub Night, Seoul worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 199 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Seoul: Anthony Bourdain Pork BBQ & Pub Night, Seoul?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Seoul: Anthony Bourdain Pork BBQ & Pub Night, Seoul suitable for kids and families?

    +

How far in advance should I book Seoul: Anthony Bourdain Pork BBQ & Pub Night, Seoul?

    +

Around 70 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Seoul: Anthony Bourdain Pork BBQ & Pub Night, Seoul start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seoul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seoul?

    +

On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seoul?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seoul?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
