Save your money and walk on your own!
This tour was a waste. We did not learn anything about KPop or culture, our guide pointed out very few sights and gave little information. I had to ask to add some a stop that probably should have been part of the tour. Don’t waste your money - a huge rip off to have someone walk with us for 3 hours.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your honest feedback. We're sorry this tour didn't meet your expectations. This tour is primarily designed as a city walk experience, focusing on letting guests freely explore Seoul's streets and feel the local atmosphere in their everyday context. We understand you were hoping for more site commentary and detailed information. Your suggestion about adding stops that should have been part of the itinerary is valuable feedback that we'll take seriously and consider for future improvements.

Excelente! Visita de familia Mexicana en Corea
I went with my family on this tour (my wife and two girls aged 11 and 15). All 4 of us were very happy. We saw many places that, if we had gone without a guide, we simply would not have seen. It is a very worthwhile tour and you get to know a very bohemian and beautiful part of Seoul. We ended the tour with a beautiful snowfall in the Korean forest. Finally, our guide Charlie Choi is a really excellent guide and person. Highly recommended.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your positive review, we hope we could provide our service again in near future.

Insightful walking tour of Seongsu-dong
Interesting and insightful walking tour experiencing a different side of Seoul not usually known to tourists. Sally the guide was very knowledgeable and gave an good narration on the history of Seongsu-dong area. Both my teen daughters also enjoyed the tour to SM Entrainment building, albeit at the lobby only.
Response from the operator: Thank you for supporting us! Hope you had a nice experience

Good sights but TERRIBLE tour guide
On our way to Dumulmeori, all he said was, "We will be having hotdogs." We had to Google to know the significance of the place, and why the locals flock there. He did not even say that the hotdog had lotus powder, and he bought ours in the stand nearest to the parking lot, not the one where everyone lined up for. When we went to see the pink grass, he asked if we wanted to wait 40 mins for the golf cart or walk 15 mins to the site. He did not mention that the walk involved 290+ steps uphill!!! One of our elderly guests did not get to go to the site perhaps for health reasons. Still, he could have arranged for him to ride the next golf cart. And then, on the way back to the shuttle, he rudely hurried us up AND EVEN RODE BEFORE EVERYONE was in the golf cart! The grass wasn't so pink (we went 1st week October). Anyway, if you want a hassle free transportation to both sites, I think this tour would be sufficient for that. But don't expect anything beyond that.
Response from the operator: Hi,could you kindly provide the reservation number so that we are able to check what's wrong and solve the problems? Because as we know there's no one from Tripadvisor who join this tour on 10/8. Thank you and wish you a wonderful day.

How much does Seongsu-dong K-Pop and Korean Culture Half Day Tour in Seoul cost?
+
Prices start at $48 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

+

How far in advance should I book Seongsu-dong K-Pop and Korean Culture Half Day Tour in Seoul?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seoul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seoul?
+
On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seoul?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seoul?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
