A perfect overview of Athens
I thoroughly recommend this Segway tour. John, our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and maximised our experience to ensure we saw as much as possible and heard great information about the sights and some local tips too. We arranged the tour for soon after we arrived in Athens and it was useful for finding our bearings and identifying where we wanted to return to explore further. Safety was not a concern as John was very attentive had clearly chose the route carefully. A Segway tour is a great way to see the sights without having tired legs from walking or getting held up in the traffic on the tourist bus. Thanks so much for the wonderful experience. 😁

It’s a perfect tour!
We were 4 - a Family with two adult children 19 and 21yo. It was a perfect day, no hurry, lots of information about the City , Greek Life of the past and nowadays and friendly conversation. We were invited for coffee and fresh drinks during the tour. Really enjoyable, safe and recommended for everyone!

Not to be Missed!
This is an excellent company with experienced and friendly guide staff. The Segway is a wonderful way to see Athens. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and gracious. Don’t be nervous about the Seqway, they are intuitive and the guide gives instruction at the beginning to help you become comfortable. 11/10 for this company. A+! I would definitely be a repeat customer!

Enjoyable and Informative Segway tour
We just loved our 3 hour tour with Annamarie. She set us up with earpieces so we could hear everything she said, gave us safety training on the segways, and off we went. The tour is a lovely mix of history and sightseeing as we travelled down narrow streets, past famous monuments and also hidden gems that we would never have found on our own. We had regular stops and delish refreshments halfway through. Annamarie was very knowledgeable, friendly and careful of our safety.

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Semi-private Historical & Contemporary Segway Tour in Athens: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.
How much does Semi-private Historical & Contemporary Segway Tour in Athens cost?
+
Prices start at $68 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Semi-private Historical & Contemporary Segway Tour in Athens take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.
Is Semi-private Historical & Contemporary Segway Tour in Athens worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 56 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Semi-private Historical & Contemporary Segway Tour in Athens?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Semi-private Historical & Contemporary Segway Tour in Athens suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 11. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Semi-private Historical & Contemporary Segway Tour in Athens?
+
Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Semi-private Historical & Contemporary Segway Tour in Athens start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Athens?
+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
