About this experience
A golden chain once stretched across the Guadalquivir to block enemy ships. A woman's skull still marks a doorway in the old Jewish Quarter. And a cathedral was built so grand, its builders were called mad. These are the kind of stories you will hear on this self-guided audio tour. Walk through 2,000 years of Seville's most dramatic stories and explore 13 stops across 6km — from a Star Wars filming location to the palace where Columbus reported back from the New World, and ending where legend says Hercules himself founded the city. You will see how the city evolved over the centuries and discover marvels built from the age of the Moors to the golden age of Seville and more modern structures. This tour is the perfect orientation for those who are first time visitors to Seville and want to view the main attractions. Start, pause, and replay anytime. Enter the Cathedral or Alcázar when you choose orstop for tapas. No group to wait for, no schedule to keep.

Out n about in the white villages .
Our guide Rebecca did a wonderful job of leading our tour in English and Spanish always with a smile. The three towns each had their own highlights and points of interest. I highly recommend the tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the lovely feedback! So happy to hear you had a great experience and enjoyed the different towns along the way.

Great app. I would use it again.
The app was great because we were able to tailor the walk to our time available. The narration covered the key points and gave some interesting information. I didn’t have earplugs with me and the voice was quiet even on full volume. Some places were a little noisy which didn’t help. I would say earphones are essential to comfortably use the app. In these circumstances.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your detailed feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the flexibility and the content. We appreciate your note about the audio volume. And yes, earphones can definitely make the experience more comfortable, especially in busier areas.

Worth the 2 hour tour.
Having the interactive map open all of the time helped a great deal. The history and art information was interesting. There were a lot of hidden spots we found along the way between marked locations were good and we wanted to know more about them, but there didn’t seem to be additional information available. The guide was informative and the pace of the tour was good.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the map, pace, and the mix of history and art. We appreciate your suggestion about adding more information for hidden spots and will look into expanding this.

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Self Guided Walking Tour of Secrets and Splendor of Seville: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seville.
How much does Self Guided Walking Tour of Secrets and Splendor of Seville cost?
+
Prices start at $6 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Self Guided Walking Tour of Secrets and Splendor of Seville take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seville is not rushed.
Is Self Guided Walking Tour of Secrets and Splendor of Seville worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Self Guided Walking Tour of Secrets and Splendor of Seville?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Self Guided Walking Tour of Secrets and Splendor of Seville suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Self Guided Walking Tour of Secrets and Splendor of Seville?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seville and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Self Guided Walking Tour of Secrets and Splendor of Seville start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seville?
+
On Outty we rank every Seville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Seville Tapas Crawl Tour by Food Lover Tour, Seville: Paella & Tapas Cooking Class + Triana Market Tour, Sevilla Food Tour: Tapas, Wine, History & Traditions. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seville?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seville?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
