Don’t do the Cartoon Tour.
This was horrible. There were no directions. You had to walk and rely on a map the entire time. The way European cities were designed, they are in circles and streets are branching off with no rhyme or reason. After several of the cartoon murals we quit. I’d love to get my money bank on this one. To listen to the headphones, looking down at the map, walking, avoiding traffic, literally gave us a headache.
Response from the operator: We're so sorry the navigation and map made for such a frustrating experience, that's not what we want for you. Comments like yours help us build better. We believe in doing right by our customers, and we've processed a full refund for this booking, it should reflect in your account within a few days depending on your bank's processing time. We hope you'll consider giving Tourific another try in the future.

Simple and user-friendly!
We really enjoyed this activity that you can do at your own pace. The app is easy to use and it is simple to make sure that you are in the right place with the illustrations. It's a great way to get an overview of the comic strips of Brussels.
Response from the operator: Merci pour ce merveilleux retour ! Ravis que l'activité à votre rythme et les illustrations vous aient aidé à vous repérer facilement, pour un bel aperçu des BD de Bruxelles. Au plaisir de vous revoir sur une prochaine balade Tourific !

The tour gave good...
The tour gave good information about each stop. I found the directions to travel from place to place a little hard to follow but overall thought it was a good value.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the tour and appreciate your suggestion about improving the directions.

Great value and very enjoyable!
I signed up for this tour on a free day during our Brussels visit, and I am very glad I did! My husband wasn’t able to go with me, and as I am an active senior I headed out on my own adventure. I enjoyed it much more than I anticipated… it was part scavenger hunt, part fascinating history (of comics, artists, and the cultural climate of the time), and part art appreciation. Bonus elements included exercise and sightseeing down streets I would not have otherwise explored. I highly recommend this tour, it was great value and a highlight of my stay in Brussels!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing this! It’s wonderful to hear the tour became such a memorable part of your time in Brussels. We’re especially glad you enjoyed the mix of discovery, history, and exploration along the way.

Great way to see another side of Brussels.
The stories about each mural made it a lot more interesting than just seeing the murals. This is especially true for non-EU visitors who may never have heard of any of the comics or the artists. While the map is good, it wasn’t always easy to follow and we somehow missed a couple murals. Be sure to keep the map to be sure you’re going the right way.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the stories behind the murals and found them enriching. We appreciate your note about the map and navigation.

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Self-Guided Walking Tour Along Brussels Comic Book Route: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Brussels.
How much does Self-Guided Walking Tour Along Brussels Comic Book Route cost?
+
Prices start at $8 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Brussels usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Self-Guided Walking Tour Along Brussels Comic Book Route take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Brussels is not rushed.
Is Self-Guided Walking Tour Along Brussels Comic Book Route worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Brussels, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Self-Guided Walking Tour Along Brussels Comic Book Route?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Self-Guided Walking Tour Along Brussels Comic Book Route suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Self-Guided Walking Tour Along Brussels Comic Book Route?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Brussels can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Brussels and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Self-Guided Walking Tour Along Brussels Comic Book Route start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Brussels within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Brussels?
+
On Outty we rank every Brussels experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Brussels: Historical Walking Tour with Chocolate & Waffle Tasting, Hungry Mary's Famous Beer and Chocolate Tour in Brussels, Brussels Chocolate Beer Waffle and Belgian Whiskey All-in-One (Small Group) Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Brussels?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Brussels?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
