Overall good experience
This was a pretty good audio tour. We enjoyed all the background stories, legends, myths and history. It was very good in terms of describing directions, as well as giving advice on whether to take a side tour in the route (why to take/ why you might not want to take). The audio tour itself was close to 5 stars in our view, only half a star off as it is a very American accent and some of the humour attempts were a little lame, but those are very small quibbles. The four star overall is only because we felt it is a bit pricey. Having said that, we do recommend it and we enjoyed the content and the directions.

Great overview and added perspective along the route
We used the audio tours for the Golden Circle and Snaefellsnes Peninsula. Both provided such a great overview and insights that we would not have gotten if we simply drove from site to site. In addition to learning about the history and geography of each area, we loved hearing so many Icelandic myths and stories, especially about elves, giants, and Norse gods! By the end of the tours, the narrator felt like our new friend!
