Bergen to Flam to Oslo was amazing

Train ride from Bergen was scenic as was the bus ride from Vass to Gudvangen. The cafe in front of the departure dock has a salmon and shrimp sandwich and pastries that are phenomenal. The Cruise from Gudvangen to Flam was amazing. As was the train ride from Flam to Myrdal and the stop at the waterfalls. . It was a long 5 hour train ride from Myrdal to Oslo but we stayed at the Raddison blue which was 300 meters from the train station. I would recommend this trip to anyone. One last note, our schedule trip had to be moved up a day due. to railway construction but Arsenii reached out to us to reschedule everything and sent our tickets via email. He was fabulous.

Glad I picked this instead of Oslo-Bergen,but hey! It's yours to choose!

The booking was done on the 11th hour, but the Team responded quick to complete my tickets.Bravo! Best one day tour I've done, seamless transfer in between activities..And so much things to do during the day by myself. Yes it was long day, but the last leg 5 hours train journey allows me to recharge, arriving Oslo freshed!

Response from the operator: Hi, Thank you for your fantastic review! We're so glad our team could assist you quickly with your last-minute booking and that everything came together smoothly. It's wonderful to hear you enjoyed the freedom of exploring at your own pace and made the most of the day. Thank you for traveling with us, and we hope to welcome you back to Norway again! Wonderful Experience

The self guided tour was perfect for us. Within a couple of days of booking we got all the individual booking confirmations. What was delightful was than Arceni from the agency reached out and gave full details on how to manage the day and also tips about what do. Once again we got a reminder and a check in to see if we needed anything and if our plans were on track. This was perfect for us as it provided all the comfort of an organized tour with the freedom and space of individual travel. Thanks so much 🙏

Response from the operator: Hi, Thank you for your kind review! We're so glad to hear that our self-guided tour was the perfect balance of organization and freedom for you. It's wonderful to know that the booking confirmations, detailed instructions, tips, and check-ins helped make your journey comfortable and stress-free. We'll be sure to pass your kind words on to Arsenii. Thank you for traveling with us, and we hope to welcome you back to Norway again! Best regards, Easy Travel Team

Self-Guided Bergen to Oslo Daytrip With Flamsbana & Fjordcruise: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bergen.

How much does Self-Guided Bergen to Oslo Daytrip With Flamsbana & Fjordcruise cost?

+

Prices start at $296 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bergen usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Self-Guided Bergen to Oslo Daytrip With Flamsbana & Fjordcruise take?

+

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bergen is not rushed.

Is Self-Guided Bergen to Oslo Daytrip With Flamsbana & Fjordcruise worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bergen, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Self-Guided Bergen to Oslo Daytrip With Flamsbana & Fjordcruise?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Self-Guided Bergen to Oslo Daytrip With Flamsbana & Fjordcruise suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 12-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Self-Guided Bergen to Oslo Daytrip With Flamsbana & Fjordcruise?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bergen can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bergen and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Self-Guided Bergen to Oslo Daytrip With Flamsbana & Fjordcruise start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bergen within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bergen?

+

On Outty we rank every Bergen experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Walking Tour in Bergen of the Past and Present, Guided Tour To Nærøyfjorden, Flåm & Stegastein - incl. 2h cruise, Discover Bergen on Foot and Boat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bergen?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bergen?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
