    Absolutely Recommend.

We had an absolutely marvelous experience. Bella and Hector were wonderful guides. The cars were as fun as promised. The scenery absolutely beautiful. Lunch, including the wine, was delicious. Wonderful opportunity to get out of busy Florence and have fun.

    A fun and authentic experience!

what a fantastic experience. Bella is one of the coolest guides you could possibly meet and the whole experience feels like a deeply authentic side of the Florence experience that would hard to find anywhere else. The Fiats are old and charming and fun, and the lunch and wine afterwards were delicious and the conversation with Bella very enlightening. She's 1/2 American and 1/2 Italian so her perspectives are so insightful. We would highly recommend this tour!

Perfect way to experience the Tuscan countryside

We did this tour during a day when we were in the Livorno port on a cruise. My husband is a car nut and i knew he would love being able to drive a Fiat through the countryside. Many tours were available with other companies where they drove you around, this was the only one where you were allowed to drive yourself (which was the only way we were interested in). We got to the meeting place at our scheduled time and were greeted by Bella, the lovely girl who runs the tours. She was raised in a bilingual household so is absolutely fluent in English, which made communication as easy as could be. She gave us a run down on the cars and let us choose the one we wanted. She and the other tour guide then drove in the lead car while we followed behind. It was very easy to keep up with the lead car, they were cautious and made sure to drive at a slow pace for us. The views were unbelievable. Honestly if there’s anything constructive i could say about the tour, i wish there were more opportunities to stop for photos because the views were just so incredible as we drove by. Thankfully by the end of it i was pretty adept at taking pictures out the window and cropping out all the extraneous trees/houses. I was grateful that we were sharing a car so that i could be the passenger photographer while my husband drove. We did stop once for a quick lesson on growing grapes and they snapped some pics of us in the car which is a great souvenir of the day. After our wonderful driving tour, we followed the lead car to a “winery” for an Italian lunch (i put this in quotes because to me a winery has a very different vibe. This was legit a family’s house and we were sitting in their dining room while they cooked in their kitchen for us. It was WAY better than a winery) This was such a cool, authentic experience. A lady and her husband cooked us lunch and we sat around their table and chatted and drank wine for an hour. We had already loved the tour, but this was such an amazing cap to a perfect day. I really couldn’t recommend this tour enough. Bella was so fun to spend the day with, the cars were great, the countryside was breathtaking, the lunch was stupendous. We did several tours during our trip through Europe and this was my husband’s favorite.

Skip the Bus Tour and Drive a Fiat in Tuscany!!

What better way to explore Tuscany than in a 1958 Fiat! My mom and I had an absolute ball on this tour. I was a bit nervous about driving a clutch, but if you’ve ever driven a manual car, it all comes back in an instant. (I only popped the clutch twice at the very beginning because I had not released the emergency brake.) These cars are easy and fun to drive! Bella, the owner, has curated a perfect experience - about an hour and half of driving, plenty of time to stop and take pictures, and wrapping up with a delicious Tuscan-style lunch in a 16th century villa. Along the way you learn about the traditions of grape growing and wine making in the region as well as some local history. This was definitely a trip highlight and Bella made us feel like family. A wonderful experience!!

Would definitely recommend, but on the pricier side for great memories of Firenze!

We had a terrific time! Despite rain and fog, we had fun driving vintage cars and taking pix of the Tuscany countryside. Meal was nice and the pepper jam was exquisite! Special accommodation for GF was greatly appreciated. A jar for home was gifted and was super nice from host Bella! Couple things to note: taxi ride to the property was very pricy at $60e. Additional $15e per car for gas was charged that was unexpected. Hosts secured taxi for us on the return for $40e so a bit better, but rounded out the day at nearly $1000e.

Self-Drive Vintage Fiat 500 Tour: Gourmet Lunch and Wine Tasting: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.

How much does Self-Drive Vintage Fiat 500 Tour: Gourmet Lunch and Wine Tasting cost?

    +

Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Self-Drive Vintage Fiat 500 Tour: Gourmet Lunch and Wine Tasting take?

    +

Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.

Is Self-Drive Vintage Fiat 500 Tour: Gourmet Lunch and Wine Tasting worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 59 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Self-Drive Vintage Fiat 500 Tour: Gourmet Lunch and Wine Tasting?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Self-Drive Vintage Fiat 500 Tour: Gourmet Lunch and Wine Tasting suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Self-Drive Vintage Fiat 500 Tour: Gourmet Lunch and Wine Tasting?

    +

Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Self-Drive Vintage Fiat 500 Tour: Gourmet Lunch and Wine Tasting start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Florence?

    +

On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Florence?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Florence?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
