Bravo, Domenico and Viator!
Given that we had never taken a private tour before (and that it was somewhat pricy), my partner and I were initially hesitant to make this booking. But it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily and well worth our time and money. All the details were accurate and as described (including the complimentary bottles of water provided). Our guide and driver, the charming and suave Domenico, not only transported us to Segesta and Monreale in comfort and safety, he chaperoned us around the sights with authority, offering insightful commentary about their history, for six-and-a-half hours without ever once becoming intrusive or oppressive (and discreetly withdrew while we had our lunch). We never could have covered as much ground (or negotiated the driving required) on our own and give this tour--and Domenico--our highest, most enthusiastic recommendation!
Response from the operator: Thank you for choosing & appreciating our services from Mimmo Sicily Tours.

Erice, Segesta, Monreale
From my first e-mail with Mimmo, I knew that I had chose the best guide AND driver for our limited time in Sicily. He provided a customized itinerary and responded quickly to any questions. He has more than 20 years experience with giving tours and it shows: he has a great attention to detail from simply securing belongings, stopping for a local treat, to pointing out architectural marvels that most people would gloss over. Though we had a full day of sights and travel, it was well paced, we didn't feel rushed at all and even with some last minute changes, Mimmo was accommodating and made it all happen with a smile. He speaks perfect English and has a great sense of humor. His knowledge of history is extraordinary and there was no question that he couldn't answer. Next time we are in Sicily, I would definitely book Mimmo again for a longer tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words. It’s always a pleasure to create customized trips according to the clients interest and schedule. Great it worked out how you desired it. Ciao !!!

How much does SEGESTA and MONREALE Private Tour from Palermo with Guide Driver cost?

Prices start at $625 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Palermo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does SEGESTA and MONREALE Private Tour from Palermo with Guide Driver take?

Is SEGESTA and MONREALE Private Tour from Palermo with Guide Driver worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Palermo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule SEGESTA and MONREALE Private Tour from Palermo with Guide Driver?

Is SEGESTA and MONREALE Private Tour from Palermo with Guide Driver suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book SEGESTA and MONREALE Private Tour from Palermo with Guide Driver?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Palermo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Palermo and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does SEGESTA and MONREALE Private Tour from Palermo with Guide Driver start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Palermo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Palermo?
+
On Outty we rank every Palermo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Palermo Pizza & Gelato Cooking Class with Meal & Wine, Palermo Food Tour: 10+ Tastings of Arancini, Cannoli, Wine & More, Palermo Sicilian Street Food Tour: Small Group by Do Eat Better. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Palermo?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Palermo?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
