Get a tour with Mona - Fun, informative, and easy going!

Mona is a terrific tour guide. He has a background in history but isn't just reciting information. He's funny and engaging and great with questions. His English is perfect - he was the easiest to communicate with of all the tour guides we had in India. He is a resident of Delhi and knows the city well. We had a great, relaxed day. Mona even provided us snacks during our tour to keep us going. A couple of notes about what really makes Mona's tour style stand out. On every other tour we took, we were taken to unscheduled stops at shops in order to get us to buy at preferred shops. This did NOT happen on Mona's tour. It was the only one where the focus was only on the activities, learning about Delhi, and having fun. Mona was also so great and personable. He has snacks in the vehicle to keep you going through the afternoon. He even helped us get some needed nicotine gum at a chemist's shop (which we had never used in India). We really felt like we had a new friend at the end of the tour. I am taking a group of uni students to India in the near future and we absolutely 100% will hire Mona for our tours of Delhi.

Response from the operator: Dear Melisa, Thank you very much for your valuable and lovely feedback. I am glad to know that you enjoyed your tour with me. It was such a pleasure to host you the experience. Looking forward to assist you again in future. Kindest, Mona

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit New Delhi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in New Delhi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
