Excellent class , Viator directions were wrong.
Wonderful experience learning about the history of korean cooking and partipsted in cooking the dishes. I woukd have liked learning how to make kimchi then use in the recipes. It was nice she shared appropriate wine pairings and we tasted an excellent citrus makeollie. There was confusion with Viator details :they canceled it first then reopened the class.We arrived early to the destination and were yokd to meet her eith an orange umbrella - thst did not happen. We arrived 30 min early so waited at a cafe and finally met the cooking instructor.

Home Cooked Meals with Kimchee
Our guide was very knowledgeable, and professional in her presentation and demonstration of Kimchee and the various combinations of dishes that can be made with this versatile product. As a cooking class, she allowed us to participate by cutting vegetables, mixing ingredients , and cooking several dishes all on her table top. Finally, we were able to taste the products of our labor. Korean Rice Wine and Traditional Summer Tea were our beverages. Our hostess was very welcoming and understanding of the initial confusion in our meeting time and place. We were very appreciative of the historical background she gave of Korea as well to put everything in perspective. We also thank her for the recipes and Instagram link. A job well done!

This Food Tour should not be missed..
We had a fabulous time eating our way across Seoul. It was well curated, allowing us to taste a big variety of traditional Korean dishes. Youla was a wonderful guide, so friendly and knowledgeable. I just might take this tour again tomorrow 😁. ( just kidding)

Best Tour Champ, YL!
YL was very effective in sharing things she knows about Korea: food, culture, history and even her observation on present Korea (gen x-y-z)! What makes the experience of a street food tour even better is that she really likes and eats the stuff she offered us to try - it is very encouraging for a visitor to see people who actually champion their local bold eats. For the travelers, I know it may seem crazy, but dont skip on any of the street food!
