What you'll see and do
Antelope Canyon
This tour includes BOTH a visit to the amazing “Secret Antelope” Canyon and the breathtaking Horseshoe Bend Overlook. Secret Antelope Canyon is part of the Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon system and is still an undiscovered gem with group sizes that are limited to just a fraction of Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons. It begins with boarding a shaded, open-air, 4x4 tour truck or an enclosed van based on availbility, and taking a short three-mile drive from Page, AZ on Highway 89. From here, you will exit the highway and enjoy a thrilling six-mile off-road adventure drive through sandy washes, rolling hills to arrive south of Lake Powell in Antelope Canyon. There you will enjoy a 300-meter nature walk to the entrance of one of the longest slot canyons to be toured on the Navajo Nation. You will have up to an hour to photograph and meander through the slot canyon and back out to the vehicle for the return ride back to the Horseshoe Bend Overlook on Navajo land.

Horseshoe Bend
We will avoid the congested public parking lot for the Overlook, and will take a private dirt road which leads to within 100 meters of the edge of the canyon. From here, you will have a much shorter walk to the rim and from there be able to stroll along the side of a 1000 foot drop. The undulating sandstone provides various angles and views of the Colorado River as it meanders around a rock promontory, creating the Horseshoe Bend loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. This portion of the tour lasts approximately an hour and allows for phenomenal picture taking. From here, we will return to our office near Antelope slot canyon in Page, AZ.

Deer Spring tours is the way to explore a slot canyon and see Horseshoe Bend!!!
This three hour experience was magical. It was my son, myself and Trey our guide. It was quiet, it wasn’t rushed. We had time to just be present and soak in the calm beauty around us. We had taken another tour earlier in the morning, in another area and it was a “cattle call”. Rushed, packed with people, and unfulfilling. I am going to post, and share Deer Spring tour information to everyone! There is a BIG difference! Thank you Trey for making it a very memorable, special memory for us.

Access is worth the cost
We did the 3 hour Canyon/Bend tour first thing in the morning. Few things to keep in mind. (1) Definitely use the map instructions they send you - you're meeting at a random spot. (2) Keep an eye out for additional e-mails or texts with info and waivers (3) Tours are not private (4) Access to the Canyon and H. Bend are limited to the tribe, but not exclusive - we did run into other tours groups from other companies (5) it gets hot! Recommend taking the first tour as it is cooler, less likely to be crowded, and perhaps it will be somewhat private. Our guide (Two Feathers) was friendly, funny and answered questions, but wasn't particularly forthcoming with information otherwise - no prepared speeches and they don't speak to you during the drive, which is most of the tour. Canyon experience was amazing. Horsehoe Bend was a bit dried up, so slightly underwhelming, but taking this tour gets you drive-up access as opposed to the lengthy hike for the general public.

FABULOUS!!!!!
This was a FABULOUS tour!! Our tour guide, Loretta, was excellent! She was very knowledgable about the area, made sure everyone in the group had their cameras set properly to capture breathtaking pictures, and even took pictures of us on our cameras! The ride out to the canyon on the 4x4 was an experience. There were only 8 in the group which made it perfect to hear the information and capture the pictures I wanted. I went on this tour solo but everyone in the group was so nice and friendly. TAKE THIS TOUR!!!

Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Tour from Page: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Page.
How much does Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Tour from Page cost?
+
Prices start at $179 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Page usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Tour from Page take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Page is not rushed.
Is Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Tour from Page worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 368 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable family friendly in Page, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Tour from Page?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Tour from Page suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Tour from Page?
+
Around 129 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Page can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Page and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Tour from Page start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Page within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Page?
+
Page exists for two icons: guided Antelope Canyon slot tours, which are the only legal way in, and Horseshoe Bend overlooks, plus Lake Powell boat trips and Colorado River float runs. On Outty we rank every Page experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lower Antelope Canyon Hiking Tour, Navajo Dinner Theater, Hoop Dancing, and Native Storytelling, Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Overlook. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Page?
+
March to May and September to October; midday canyon slots are best for light beams. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Page?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
