Barcelona City Taxi Pre pay rip off.
As a travel agent escorting a small group of 11 with three needing wheelchair taxis. We all arrived on time at BCN but due to delays in clearing passport control we were over an hour late getting to the taxi's. I had prepaid for the services and also for transport from hotel to the port. I was told if I didn't pay the late fee of 105 euro I would not be able to use the hotel to port transfer. The delay was not our fault and I explained to the dispatch the issue. As a result I paid out of my pocket the late fee. I can not and will not recommend Barcelona City Taxi pre pay.
Response from the operator: We believe this review has been posted on the wrong company profile. Indus Pickups Barcelona did not have this booking, and the service you describe was not provided by our company. Additionally, we do not offer disabled or wheelchair taxi services, and we have no record of a reservation matching the details mentioned in your review. It appears the experience you describe relates to a different provider. To avoid confusion for future customers, we kindly request that this review be removed from our profile and posted under the correct company. Kind regards, Fraz Tahseen Indus Pickups Barcelona

Worth it
Our flight landed almost 2 hours late. Upon landing, I contacted the driver--he'd been tracking the flight and had adjusted our pick up time accordingly. We had a little trouble finding him but with a quick phone call we discovered we were only a few steps from each other! The driver and the ride were seamless. I would definitely use this service again.

Know before you go!
This was our first time in BCN. Once we arrived we found ourselves sitting on the sidewalk during a taxi strike. We had too much luggage to take a bus (which most people did) so I opted to go online to secure a private car. In my haste, I chose the next day for pick up instead of the current day's date. After finally getting to the hotel, I reached out to the vendor to try and reschedule my return trip. I did not ask for a refund, I simply wanted to change the date and pick up location (port vs airport). The vendor refused to do a refund, a credit, or make any changes.

Convenient way to get into the city from airport
Our driver was at the designated spot as expected. My only issue with this is that the hour of waiting time starts at landing and on an international flight by the time the plane gets to the gate, 300+ people get off, go through customs and claim luggage it can be tight. We made it with a few minutes to spare but 2 of our group had to make a quick stop in the airport and the driver made us aware that our hour was almost over. I don't know that he would've left us but it seemed like that was the plan. Not sure if the driver spoke English or not because he never spoke to us again after we got into the vehicle. We ended up taking the subway back to the airport at the end of our trip, rather than book again with this company. The subway is very clean, easy to use, a fraction of the cost and actual travel time is not too different.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for sharing your recent experience with Indus Pickups.

Why this scores 47
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Seamless Barcelona Airport to City Center Taxi Transfer: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.
How much does Seamless Barcelona Airport to City Center Taxi Transfer cost?
+
Prices start at $16 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Seamless Barcelona Airport to City Center Taxi Transfer take?
+
Plan for about 0.6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.
Is Seamless Barcelona Airport to City Center Taxi Transfer worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Seamless Barcelona Airport to City Center Taxi Transfer?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Seamless Barcelona Airport to City Center Taxi Transfer suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Seamless Barcelona Airport to City Center Taxi Transfer?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 0.6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Seamless Barcelona Airport to City Center Taxi Transfer start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Barcelona?
+
Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
+
May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Barcelona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
