Swimming with Turtles in Marsa Mubarak

I visited Marsa Mubarak and it was a really nice experience. The water was super clear, and I was lucky to see a sea turtle up close, which was the highlight of the trip. There was a small delay at the start, but overall everything was well organized. The crew were friendly and helpful, and the trip felt safe. Lunch was okay, nothing special. If you’re looking for a relaxed day with beautiful sea life, it’s definitely worth it.

Response from the operator: We’re delighted to hear that you had such a great experience and truly appreciate your recommendation. It means a lot to us to know that everything, including our staff, met your expectations .We hope to welcome you again in the future

Nice day

I went on a turtle watching trip in Marsa Alam and it was an amazing experience! 🐢 The sea was crystal clear and we saw several big sea turtles swimming peacefully. We also had time to snorkel and enjoy the beautiful coral reefs and colorful fish. The team was friendly and explained everything clearly, which made the trip even more enjoyable. It was such a magical moment to be so close to the turtles in their natural environment. I highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Marsa Alam!

Bad snorkel trip

Transfer to the excursion was ok. Excursion approx. 3 hours Only 1 snorkel stop with 2 promised. No communication on board when and how long you can go snorkeling. Often sat planlessly on the ship. Everyone had to wear life jackets while snorkeling. Crew just wanted to clear quickly. Food was good.

When is the best time to visit Marsa Alam?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marsa Alam?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
