Be Prepared
If you payed in advance, read the directions for unlocking the activity the night before you go. We found the website a bit difficult to navigate. Once we unlocked the activity, we ran out of time and had board our boat for home. Also, the name of the activity was different on the app than the title of tickets bought in advance.

Hot Times on a Hot Georgia Day
Educational and fun way to learn about the historical sites near the river in Savannah. The story was interesting, as well. It was wel worth the $7.75 we paid on Vivator

Highly recommend - fun for the whole family
It was so much fun! We did it yesterday for Mother’s Day. It was a little warm but there was a nice breeze on River St
Response from the operator: Thanks for the recommendation, and happy Mother's Day! I'm so glad the whole family had fun with the pirate adventure and enjoyed that nice breeze on River Street. Hope to see you all on another quest soon!

Terrible
Waste of time, you only need to buy one ticket, unless you want to share with other people. Also, it requires you to download app and create an account, which is way to much for this short activity. Also, we had construction limiting the completion of the activity, rendering it useless.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I am very sorry to hear that your adventure in Savannah ended up feeling like a waste of time and that you encountered so many frustrations along the way. I want to gently address a few of the points you raised to help clarify how our experiences are designed: App Download: Because our experiences are interactive, smartphone based games, they do require downloading the Questo app and creating a quick account to play. We try to make this as transparent as possible by clearly mentioning this requirement on the activity page before any booking is made. Ticket Sharing: You are completely correct that a group can choose to share one phone! However, many groups prefer to purchase individual tickets so that everyone can read the stories, see the clues, and submit answers on their own devices. Unexpected Construction: I am incredibly sorry that construction blocked your path and prevented you from completing the game. While city landscapes change frequently, it is always disappointing when it disrupts a fun outing. For future reference, we do have 24/7 customer support available directly in the app. They can provide immediate workarounds or alternate directions when unexpected obstacles like construction pop up! Since you were unable to finish the activity, I would love to make things right. Please email us at explore@questoapp.com with your booking details so we can process a refund for your experience.

Perfect way to see some...
Perfect way to see some sites without the big price tag. We actually had met some locals on a ghost walk and they wound up doing this with us. It's a nice out of the box option for an outing.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We're thrilled you enjoyed exploring Savannah with our pirate adventure and that it even brought you together with locals. That’s exactly the kind of memorable connection we hope to inspire. We’re glad it offered a fun and affordable alternative to traditional tours.

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Savannah Waterfront: Pirate Adventure Walking Game: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Savannah.
How much does Savannah Waterfront: Pirate Adventure Walking Game cost?
+
Prices start at $8 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Savannah usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Savannah Waterfront: Pirate Adventure Walking Game take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Savannah is not rushed.
Is Savannah Waterfront: Pirate Adventure Walking Game worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Savannah, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Savannah Waterfront: Pirate Adventure Walking Game?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Savannah Waterfront: Pirate Adventure Walking Game suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Savannah Waterfront: Pirate Adventure Walking Game?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Savannah can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Savannah and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Savannah Waterfront: Pirate Adventure Walking Game start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Savannah within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Savannah?
+
Savannah is a walking city with a dense guide market, which means quality spread is wide. Historic district walks, Bonaventure Cemetery trips, trolley hop-on routes and ghost tours with tavern access make up most bookings. Outty Ranking leans on licensed-guide status and group size, since the squares get loud once a tour passes twenty people. On Outty we rank every Savannah experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Historic Savannah Guided Walking Tour, Bonaventure Cemetery Walking Tour with Transportation, Haunted Savannah Booze and Boos Ghost Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Savannah?
+
March to May for azaleas, or October to November for cool evenings. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Savannah?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
