An experience not to be missed!

It's an experience not to be missed in Sapa in my opinion, the guide Ghênh is really very kind, she teaches you a lot about the local culture and responds to your wishes of the moment. Really, I am happy to have been able to do this trek. The day ended with a herbal bath after the walk, it was perfect! If you are looking for a walk off the beaten path, this is for you!

    Scamming operation

I was scammed on this trek. The guide brought two woman along, made as if they were part of the trek, all befriended me and at the end basically forced me to buy overpriced souvinirsI did not want. I contacted Viator the guide lied to them and they refused a refund.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. However, we would like to clarify a few important points regarding your experience. At the beginning of the trek, our guide clearly informed you that the two local women were not part of our tour staff. They are local villagers who sometimes walk along the route to sell handmade souvenirs. This is a common situation in many villages in Sapa. You were informed about this in advance. You were absolutely free to say “no” to them at any time. Many visitors choose not to buy anything, and that decision is always respected. These women are not employees or representatives of our company, and any purchases made are entirely a private agreement between you and them. For this reason, we cannot be responsible for purchases that guests voluntarily make with local vendors along the trekking route. We always aim to provide transparent information and a positive trekking experience for our guests, and we regret that you felt uncomfortable during the trip.

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
