Great experience and stunning views
I had a wonderful 3-day motorcycle tour with May. We stayed in two different homestays in a beautiful little village near Sapa. During the day, she showed me amazing views high up in the mountains, overlooking rice paddies and the stunning peaks. We also rode on dirt roads that were quite adventurous, but I always felt safe. May explained a lot to me and answered all my questions. This gave me a deep insight into the Red Dao culture. She was always attentive to my well-being and incredibly flexible when I wanted to see something specific. In the evenings, we always ate with local families and enjoyed happy water, and I even had a herbal bath. The privat tour cost me $305 USD, which included fuel, accommodation, meals, and some entrance fees. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone, especially with the lovely May.

Great motorbike tour around Sapa mountains and villages
We did the two-day motorbike tour with MayPet and both TaMays. It was well paced, and the route gave us a good mix of mountain roads, rice terraces and villages. The drivers were careful, so I could focus on the scenery and enjoy the ride. I asked a lot of questions along the way and had some great conversations (in good English) with them about local customs and daily life. Visiting MayPet’s home was a highlight. The homestay hosts were welcoming, we had a very enjoyable evening, and the food was excellent. I’d recommend the two-day tour if you want to see more of the Sapa area and have time to talk with the people showing you around. And this tour we did only with me and my girlfriend.

2-day motorbike tour in Sa Pa
My partner and I had the best time on our 2-day motorbike tour around Sa Pa. Our guides, May and Tamay, were fantastic—so sweet, attentive, and spoke proper English. They made sure I we were perfectly taken care of with great vegetarian food, the homestay was beautiful, and the traditional medical bath was an absolute highlight! My only critique goes to the price. To us it felt that the tour is extremely overpriced for Vietnam. I assume the bike, the gasoline, few meals and 1 night in guesthouse are not that big of an expense, while the biggest chunk of money should go to people salary, however it didn’t seem that the local guides are actually being paid proportionally to the tour price, which felt unfair since May and Tamay did all the heavy lifting. If you book this tour, please bring extra cash to tip your guides directly!

Unforgettable 2-day motorcycle tour in Sapa with our Guide May
The two-day motorcycle tour in Sapa was simply perfect and one of the absolute highlights of our trip. Everything was excellently organized from the start until the end Our guide May had a wealth of knowledge about Sapa and the surrounding region. In addition to the breathtaking scenery, we learned a lot of exciting information about the history, culture, and daily life of the local people. We were particularly impressed by the small villages. There, we were able to gain an authentic insight into the lives of ethnic minorities and experience the warm hospitality of the locals. The route was perfectly chosen: spectacular mountain roads, endless rice terraces, and beautiful viewpoints. There were plenty of stops for photos, short walks, and to enjoy the surroundings at leisure. The pace was also comfortable and well suited to the group. This tour is ideal for anyone who wants to not only see Sapa, but really understand it. A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to combine nature, culture, and adventure. We would book this motorcycle tour again anytime!
