The name says it all, Amazing great service to Sa Pa
Fantastic service from Hanoi hotel pick up to Sa Pa hotel drop off return. After initial online booking and secure payment, we where able to chat via whats app, we where informed of approx bus arrival time and license number. On board bus had approx 10 seats mainly as very comfortable lounge chairs with charging points and reclining features, very clean as well as a bottle of water and sweet bun thrown in on pick up. Ride to approx 5 hours to Sa Pa with two stops along the way for about 20 minutes each. Ample hot food and snacks available for purchase as well as toilet facilities costing 3000VND to use. Free wifi on board with very careful drivers speaking limited English. Amazingly great way to get to Sa Pa door to door and during the day. Thank you so much

Luxury van to and from Sapa

Easy booking, clear communication, comfortable and safe drive. Booking is fast and easy. Pickup was smooth. They sent the picture of the van and the license plate. Provided water and a snack. Usb and wifi in the van. Stopped twice for bathroom and food break. Perfect to walk around, snack, and bathroom break. Very mountainous roads and the driver clearly knew it like the back of his hand!! Timely and safe arrival.

Shortchanged and poor service
I booked Amazing Uncles after reading the superb reviews here. My actual experience fell well short, over both legs between Hanoi and Sapa. The first leg from Hanoi was marred by the fact that the VIP seats we had booked and paid for were given to someone else. Only 1 out of the 3 VIP seats we had booked was assigned to us. The remaining two in our party had to sit at the back row (which was designated as normal seats and would have cost less than what we paid for). On our return leg, we had booked normal seats that sat three at the back. We were promised the transport would pick us up at our hotel, but instead we had to walk 500m to the pick-up point with our luggage in tow. For some reason, the driver had parked his van near the Sapa Church, walked to our Saparis hotel and we had little choice but to follow him on foot to his van. Even the walk was strange. Inexplicably, he left us halfway by the roadside for a good 15-20 minutes before appearing from a distance and gestured for us to walk towards him. We then waited another half an hour for 4 other passengers to turn up. In total, there were 8 passengers in the van, with one seat unavailable as it was converted into a cargo hold. Between the 4 last-to-board passenger, they had so much baggage that one seat in the last row was used to carry luggage. Some of their pieces of luggage were huge, and easily exceeded the specified 26" height ceiling. That meant two of us had to sit at the back row beside a large, hard-casing bag while the remaining one had to be squeezed into the front seat, alongside another adult passenger who sat beside the driver. Anyone who has seen these vans would know that the centre-seat next to the driver is narrow and meant to accommodate a small person or a child. Those who of us who sat at the back complained of stuffiness. We asked for better ventilation but the driver merely said the aircon was already running at full blast. The crux of the issue is that Amazing Uncles had overpromised but underdelivered on its service. It's clear that they were bent on squeezing as many people and luggage than there was comfortable room for. And the seats we were given were not the seats we had paid for. Never again will I patronise the business of this not-so-amazing transport operator.

Amazing Uncles made getting to and from Sapa a breeze.
The Amazing Uncles were a fantastic limo service for our trip to and from Sapa. They were very communicative the entire time and always answered our questions promptly and accurately. The vans were clean, had great AC, and one even had wifi. I would definitely book with them again in the future.
