Un esperienza da dimenticare
the tour is very beautiful the guide took us through the terraces of the rice fields the people are fantastic six ethnic groups live in this place and thanks to our guide we were able to visit the city, the villages and the surroundings well. as regards the accommodation the hotel the food and the organization leaves a lot to be desired they requested a surcharge which was not told to us at the beginning because it was the first of the year I requested explanations without any success and in the end on the return they canceled the tickets for return to the city of Hanoi and I had to pay them personally and moreover I asked for a refund as the hotel was in an area full of dust and I had to take cortisonee because I suffer from asthma at night I didn't sleep and there was no it was nothing to do so be careful when you book and accept what is included and what is not included because the local tour operators are infamous I asked for a refund which was denied and we did not eat at this hotel at all.
Response from the operator: It's Luong - Vietnam operator. We had informed the customers - 2 Italian men of the holiday surcharge - 60USD, they agreed to pay in cash on the date so we arranged the tour for them. We have proof for it. They lied to me, the receptionist, the tour guide all the time saying paying the holiday surcharge on purpose. They even said they paid for it but they didn't. They finally said literally they were not paying it and made up reasons to not pay the holiday surcharge, they even said very bad words to me on phone. They made up the reasons to not pay it. We had checked with our tour guide about the service. The local government is fixing the road so there is dust outside, not inside the hotel - clean, we cannot control it. They still owed us 60USD, so we rejected the refund. We warn other suppliers should be carefull with the guests - Saviano Vincenzo (we are not sure if it is the real name). Thanks, Luong

Good long trip with lots of trekking in the mountainous area, travel by sleeper bus.
Long trip, travel by sleeper bus with 2 hour stops. Lots of trekking, walking through paddy fields to see indigenous communities. When offered take rain boots take it, if you don't want to spoil your shoes since walking through the fields can get slippery and dirty. On the first day, Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van, explanation from the guide was missing or less explaining about the different communities and their differences, probably because the group was scattered during hours long walking. Second day Cat Cat village visit was good for photos, music and dances. Hotel is ok and wet bathrooms seems the norm, have limited facilities, probably because of the mountainous area. Food was good and lunch was plenty. A/C was too cool during the onward journey but return trip was good. Able to reach back to Hanoi on time!!
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for your feedback, Eappan Benjamin We are so happy that you enjoyed the Sapa 2 Days 1 Night Tour From Hanoi - Overnight in Hotel ( Full Inclusions) Thanks again for joining us. Have a nice time in Vietnam! Best regards, Luong

Bad experience
The tour described that travel will be by minivan but the agent booked me on a sleeper bus on the way up to Sapa which is not what I wanted.
Response from the operator: Dear John Lai, As the decription of the 2 days 1 night package to Sapa, the transfer is a bus, not a minivan, please check your voucher again. Maybe you are mistaken with the single service for the transfer from Hanoi to Sapa. When you contacted us for the transfer to get back to Hanoi after the tour, we offered the limousine bus but you booked a minivan already yourself. We would support you to cancel 1 way transfer and refund for you that amount then. Hope you enjoyed the scenery in Sapa. Best regards, Luong

The downhill hike.
I wasn't expecting the hike to be challenging, yet it was. Local guides assisted in the downhill trek. The path was a bit slippery from recent rain and natural debris.
Response from the operator: Dear Merie Holl , thanks so much for your feedback! Thanks so much for joing our Sapa 2 Days 1 Night Tour From Hanoi - Overnight in Hotel (Full Inclusions) tour. It will harder to trek after the rain, our tour guide will assist you and make sure the safety. Hope you enjoy the scenery in villages. Best regards, Luong

Why this scores 47
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sapa 2 Days 1 Night Tour From Hanoi By Bus (Hotel Overnight): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hanoi.
How much does Sapa 2 Days 1 Night Tour From Hanoi By Bus (Hotel Overnight) cost?
+
Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hanoi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sapa 2 Days 1 Night Tour From Hanoi By Bus (Hotel Overnight) take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hanoi is not rushed.
Is Sapa 2 Days 1 Night Tour From Hanoi By Bus (Hotel Overnight) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable nightlife in Hanoi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sapa 2 Days 1 Night Tour From Hanoi By Bus (Hotel Overnight)?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Sapa 2 Days 1 Night Tour From Hanoi By Bus (Hotel Overnight) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sapa 2 Days 1 Night Tour From Hanoi By Bus (Hotel Overnight)?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hanoi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hanoi and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sapa 2 Days 1 Night Tour From Hanoi By Bus (Hotel Overnight) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hanoi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hanoi?
+
On Outty we rank every Hanoi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ninh Binh Day Trip from Hanoi with Tam Coc or Trang An & Mua Cave, Ha Giang Loop Tour 4 Days 3 Nights with Ha Giang Vision Tour, Halong Bay Day Tour With Titop Island, Cave, Kayak & Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hanoi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hanoi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
