Fun , informative experience
Marina at the first stop (Museum) was amazing! Wonderful experience at each location. The final stop is kind of short but we enjoyed that because after so many drinks we were ready to go back to our room for a nap.

Wineries in Santorini.... history, views and wines
The driver was great and pointed out sites along the way. The wineries were ok... they could offer souvenirs or opportunities for bigger selection tastings.

An Amazing Santorini Wine Experience
Such an amazing wine experience in Santorini. We had a private tour so we had the car to ourselves. Each winery had its own special charm that we enjoyed and would certainly recommend this tour!

Best wine-tasting tour you could hope for!! Fantastic must-do experience!!
This was the best wine tasting experience my partner and I have ever had. I can't recommend it highly enough. It had a lovely mix of wineries with different styles and experiences. The Museum Koutsogiannopoulos is a fun, homely historical place, giving a nice self-guided wine exhibit tour that outlines the history of wine-making on the island. It also had some genuinely interesting facts about the unique vineyards on Santorini, followed by a nice tasting. The Estate Argyros couldn't be more different. It was a beautiful, slick, professional winery with a lustrous white marble tasting room and hi tech wine production tour. The wines here are world-class and could compete with the best international vintages. We bought three, including the amazing 20-year Vinsantos - the best Vinsantos you'll get on the island. The last stop is one of our old favourites, Santo winery. Its more commercial with lots of tourists and wine varieties. However, that does not detract from the quality of the experience. When you've already had 6-8 wines and are feeling merry, you’ll want to finish in Santo because it has spectacular views of the Aegean, lovely complimentary light bites, and a nice bar vibe to finish off your amazing day of wine-tasting. Also, it has the best sparkling wine you can buy on the island that is as good as high quality champagne. Definitely grab a bottle of that when here. Basically, this has everything you’d want in a wine-tasting experience in the right sequence and balance. Also, we were the only people on the tour, so it felt like a personalised wine trip, which made it even more special. The guide was friendly, good fun, flexible, and happy to spend shorter or longer in each estate depending on our preferences. He also knew all the best photo spots and took some snaps of us at each winery. He also leaves you alone to enjoy the wine-tasting with the experts, so it is an unintrusive, chilled experience overall. A brilliant excursion!!

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Santorini Wine Tasting Experience Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.
How much does Santorini Wine Tasting Experience Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $160 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Santorini Wine Tasting Experience Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.
Is Santorini Wine Tasting Experience Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 33 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Santorini Wine Tasting Experience Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Santorini Wine Tasting Experience Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Santorini Wine Tasting Experience Tour?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Santorini Wine Tasting Experience Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santorini?
+
On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santorini?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santorini?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
