    Santorini

Learning some of Santorinis history, pistachio trees and the oldest church in Santorini. Seeing the whole Santorini on top of Pyrgos and old village. Most of all, doing all this with my 20 year old and she had a blast, partly because of Tanya! Thank you Tanya and Stephanus.

Response from the operator: Dear Salife, Thank you for your fantastic review and for taking the time to share your experience with us. The view from the top of Pyrgos and the old village is indeed breathtaking. It's wonderful to know that your 20-year-old had a blast during the excursion. Providing enjoyable experiences for families is one of our top priorities, and we're thrilled to hear that we achieved that for you. Thank you once again for your kind words. We look forward to welcoming you and your family on another adventure soon!

    GOOD TOUR

Tour was ok , the only claim is that when we arrived at 8.00 pm to Santorini the guide told us they had to leave in the Tour office and not in the meeting point as per booked because the bus could not enter on this area, so we had to walk more than 1 km with high winds and cold temperature seeing other tourist buses crossing on the way.?????

Response from the operator: Dear Ramone, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are delighted that you enjoyed the tour. However, we apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your return trip when the bus could not reach your hotel. Ensuring our guests' satisfaction is our top priority, so we promptly looked into the issue. The disruption was caused by the Good Friday procession, a significant event in Greece, which unfortunately coincided with your return time. We regret that the driver did not fully explain the situation to you. Thank you once again for your feedback. We hope this incident will not deter you from booking with us in the future.

Amazing sunset but be there 1-2h in advance

Nice villages to pass by, the tour guide was very well trained and explain everything, the sunset is amazing but be on the sunset boulevard 1-2h before and if you can,go to a terrace (but they are very expensive)

Response from the operator: Dear Dumitriu, We are thrilled to hear that you had a wonderful time on our tour. Thank you for your compliments and your constructive feedback. We always aim to offer the best service and experience for our guests, and we value your input on how to make it even better. We are happy that you got to witness the stunning sunset in Santorini, which is one of the most iconic sights in Greece. We hope to welcome you back soon.

    Avoid Cretan Holiday Tours

’ve been to Santorini ten times and I’ve had wonderful experiences with hotels, trips, tours, shops, wineries, ferries, restaurants, car rentals and people! II booked several things through the Viator app with great success, but a tour I booked with Cretan Holidays tours was a very bad experience. Please avoid booking with them and save yourself the trouble! They never picked me up for the tour I booked and even after contacting them they made no attempt to help, pick me up, credit or refund the tour. I wouldn’t want this to happen to someone else. Their tour on the Viator app was called “Santorini Traditional Villages and Oia Sunset Tour.” I don’t recommend. On the other hand a tour I booked with Luxury travel was fantastic!

Response from the operator: Dear Jill, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are really sorry about the problem you had with your pick up of our excursion. For us at Cretan Holidays, it is very important for our guests to have the best possible experience without problems and stress. That's why we checked what happened in your case. The driver had informed us that he had arrived at the pick up point 5 minutes earlier and that he could not find you, furthermore the message we received from you that you could not find the bus was half an hour after the pickup time, if you had called us a little earlier we could have told the driver to come back and pick you up. However we tried to suggest you to make another excursion without additional charge the next day but we did not receive any response from you. For once again we are really sorry that you didn't have the chance to join our excursion. We hope to see you again soon in order to have a different opinion for our services. Thank you,

    Stunning place

Came on a Marella cruise tour, Kia is a beautiful place but get there early or late it gets packed, there are people everywhere trying to get the best photos, however it is worth it this place is stunning, but expensive, come and see although it is not really for the less mobile

Response from the operator: Dear Pesue, Thank you for your excellent review. It is true that Santorini is an amazing place and we love it when our guest have such a nice experience. Hope to see you again soon!

Santorini Traditional Villages and Oia Sunset Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.

How much does Santorini Traditional Villages and Oia Sunset Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $22 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Santorini Traditional Villages and Oia Sunset Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.

Is Santorini Traditional Villages and Oia Sunset Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Santorini Traditional Villages and Oia Sunset Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Santorini Traditional Villages and Oia Sunset Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Santorini Traditional Villages and Oia Sunset Tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Santorini Traditional Villages and Oia Sunset Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Santorini?

    +

On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santorini?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santorini?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
