About this experience
Experience the Abundance of Santorini on an elite, 4-location private journey. Led by a local wine expert, we balance deep learning with the luxury of generous pours. Unlike others, we offer more locations, more food, and more wine. Behind the Scenes: Master the island's secrets with an exclusive vineyard walk, a production tour, and a 4-wine educational flight at our first stop. The VIP Difference: Skip the crowded "semi-private" tours. Why share a 9-seat van with at least 3 other couples when you can have 100% privacy? While others offer small samples, we provide generous servings paired with a curated tapas platter of local recipes. The Best View: We’ve reserved you a Guaranteed Front-Row Table at Santo Wines with a full bottle of wine and premium cheese or bruschetta to enjoy the sunset. Abundant Value: With 4 elite locations and significantly more food than standard tours, we ensure your evening is truly epic. More locations. Total privacy. Full bottles. Only with us.

Fantastic guide and fantastic wines.
Stratus was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable on wine and added fun facts as we drove between wineries. VIP Experience at each winery. Plenty of snacks. We grew a deeper appreciation for the quality of wines. We’ve toured many wine regions in the world and this was a highlight.

Honeymoon Bliss
We had the best time on our private sunset wine tour with Stratos! He was warm, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about Santorini and its wines. Each winery had a unique charm and breathtaking views, and the wines (and tapas!) were absolutely delicious. Stratos made the experience feel personal and relaxed — like spending the day with a good friend who loves his island. This was one of the highlights of our honeymoon — thank you, Stratos, for an unforgettable evening! Highly recommend Santorini Local Guides to anyone visiting the island.

Amazing experience. He is highly knowledgeable.
We had a really pleasant experience with Stratos. He is very knowledgeable on all the local and global wines. We asked him a lot of questions that were answered to the T. He went out of his way to get us the best experience. I would definitely recommend this to anyone coming to Santorini.

Best tour ever!
One of the absolute highlights of our honeymoon! Stratos from Santorini Local Guides was hands-down the best guide we've ever had—warm, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about his island. He tailored the experience perfectly to our interests, shared amazing local stories and hidden spots we never would’ve found on our own, and made the whole day feel relaxed and personal—like exploring with a good friend. If you're looking for a guide in Santorini, look no further. Booking with Stratos was one of the best choices we made on our trip, and we truly can’t recommend him enough.

Best way to see the Santorini sunset
Absolutely loved our sunset winery tour! We had some delicious wines with just the right amount of explanation, as well as some wonderful cheeses and other snacks. Hotel pick up and drop off is so convenient, and we saw many parts of the island that we would not have otherwise had the chance to visit without renting a car. The perfect way to spend the evening!

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Santorini Sunset Wine Abundance: 4 Wineries & Local Meze: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.
How much does Santorini Sunset Wine Abundance: 4 Wineries & Local Meze cost?
+
Prices start at $354 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Santorini Sunset Wine Abundance: 4 Wineries & Local Meze take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.
Is Santorini Sunset Wine Abundance: 4 Wineries & Local Meze worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Santorini Sunset Wine Abundance: 4 Wineries & Local Meze?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Santorini Sunset Wine Abundance: 4 Wineries & Local Meze suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Santorini Sunset Wine Abundance: 4 Wineries & Local Meze?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Santorini Sunset Wine Abundance: 4 Wineries & Local Meze start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santorini?
+
On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santorini?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santorini?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
