About this experience
Embark on a journey through Santorini's most captivating landmarks, starting with the enchanting village of Oia. Here, whitewashed buildings cling to the cliffs, offering panoramic views of the Aegean Sea and unforgettable sunsets that paint the sky with hues of orange and pink. Take breathtaking photos with the 3 bells and the volcano in the background. Venture to Profitis Elias, the highest point of the island, where breathtaking vistas await. From this lofty perch, gaze out over the azure expanse of the caldera and the scattered islands that dot the horizon. Continue your exploration to the striking Red Beach, where towering cliffs of crimson volcanic rock frame a secluded cove of shimmering waters. For the sunset tour, the lighthouse is an excellent place to picture the unique colors of the sky.

George is local, knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He gave clear concise descriptions of what we were seeing on our tour and thoroughly answered all our questions. I highly recommend him.

George Fousteris is the best!! When we visit Santorini again, he is the only one we are going to ask for, he is a local, born
George Fousteris is the best in ask of Santorini, honest to the core, born and raised in Santorini, knows the ins and outs, had the best suggestion for restaurants and shopping, took us on the entire island tour and got is to the best sunset. All in all there is no one like him!! He is worth every penny you invest into the trip, always, always ask for him. We site will be doing this every time we visit.
Response from the operator: Savitha is was a pleasure meeting you! Thank you so much for your kind words!

Perfect experience for Port trip or all around the island!
Very nice car, clean and cool- but the best part was George! He is a Santorini native so he is super informative about the island, not just someone in for the summer season.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review! Hope to see you again in Santorini!

Perfect service by George
Having a personal tour of the island by George, who is born and raised in Santorini is truly an added value. George is very friendly and speaks very good english. I would recommend him for all your transportation needs and private tours (island tour, wine tasting, catamaran, Oia sunset, …). Hope to see you again George 😊 Maya & Nina
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review Mrs Maya and Nina!!!

Impeccable service
Booked initially through our hotel, George was a wonderful private driver. Punctual, extremely polite and always with our best interests at heart (e.g. he took us specifically to a cash point that offered a better exchange rate, rather than just taking me to the one at the port, that I’d suggested). Extremely knowledgeable and kind, you’ll feel in safe hands with George and his lovely BMW X5.
Response from the operator: Dear Toby and Jenny, Thank you so much for your review! Means a lot for me! Im looking forward to seeing you again in Santorini! All the best, George Fousteris

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Santorini Private Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.
How much does Santorini Private Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $272 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Santorini Private Tour take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.
Is Santorini Private Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Santorini Private Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Santorini Private Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Santorini Private Tour?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Santorini Private Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santorini?
+
On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santorini?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santorini?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
