Amazing boat trip
Had amazing time and the staff were really good too. Would highly recommend for any occasion, lots of sight seeing and I loved that they had gluten free option for me when it came time to eat.

Extremely Disappointing Experience — Poor Communication and No Refund
This was one of the worst experiences I have had booking an excursion through Viator. I booked the Santorini catamaran cruise last minute, with the cruise scheduled to depart at 3:30 PM. The information on Viator stated that the operator would contact me through WhatsApp regarding pickup, but I never received any communication or pickup instructions. Because I had not heard from the operator, I contacted them myself approximately an hour before departure. They did not respond to my message. Had they responded, I could have arranged my own transportation and made it to the departure location. Instead, I was left without the information needed to attend the excursion. What is especially concerning is that I was later told that a driver had allegedly been sent. If that is true, I don’t understand how a driver could have been dispatched without the operator ever providing me with a pickup time or communicating with me. I was not given a reasonable opportunity to make alternative arrangements. I am extremely disappointed that Viator has treated this as a no-show and refused to provide a refund based on operator. This was not a voluntary cancellation or a situation where I simply failed to attend. I actively attempted to obtain the necessary information before departure, and the operator failed to respond. I have retained screenshots, timestamps, booking information, and my unanswered messages. I am pursuing the matter further because I believe customers should not be financially penalized when an operator fails to communicate essential information required to receive the service.

Important Warning Before Booking!! If you book this excursion, provide your own transportation and plan to arrive by 2:00 PM. Do not rely on the operator to contact you through WhatsApp as Viator states they will. Call the operator directly—do not rely on texting. Based on my experience, they did not reach out to me with pickup information, despite Viator stating that they would. I recommend confirming the pickup/meeting location and arrival time directly with the operator before your scheduled excursion so you don’t end up in the same situation I did.

Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Santorini: Premium Small-Group Catamaran Cruise with Food/Drinks: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.
How much does Santorini: Premium Small-Group Catamaran Cruise with Food/Drinks cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Santorini: Premium Small-Group Catamaran Cruise with Food/Drinks take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.
Is Santorini: Premium Small-Group Catamaran Cruise with Food/Drinks worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 91 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Santorini: Premium Small-Group Catamaran Cruise with Food/Drinks?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Santorini: Premium Small-Group Catamaran Cruise with Food/Drinks suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Santorini: Premium Small-Group Catamaran Cruise with Food/Drinks?
+
Around 32 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Santorini: Premium Small-Group Catamaran Cruise with Food/Drinks start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santorini?
+
On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santorini?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santorini?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
