    1. Red Beach

Red Beach in Akrotiri, Santorini, is one of the most famous and visually striking beaches on the island. Named for its unique red volcanic sand and towering red cliffs, the beach is a natural marvel. The red hue of the sand and rocks comes from the volcanic activity that formed the island. Located near the archaeological site of Akrotiri, an ancient Minoan city, Red Beach offers visitors a blend of natural beauty and historical significance. While the beach is small, its dramatic scenery makes it a popular destination for those looking to enjoy the sun and swim in the crystal-clear waters. Access to the beach involves a short walk down a steep path, and although there are limited amenities, its stunning views make it a must-see spot on Santorini.

    2. White Beach

White Beach in Santorini is a secluded and picturesque beach located near the village of Akrotiri, on the island’s southern coast. It is known for its unique white pebbles and crystal-clear waters, set against dramatic white and light-colored cliffs. The beach is accessible only by boat, making it a quieter, more peaceful alternative to some of the more popular beaches on the island. The calm waters are perfect for swimming and snorkeling, allowing visitors to enjoy the stunning underwater views. Although there are limited facilities, the serene atmosphere and stunning natural beauty of White Beach make it a hidden gem for those looking to escape the crowds and experience Santorini's more tranquil side.

    3. Volcano Of Santorini

The Santorini Volcano is an active volcanic system located in the center of the island’s famous caldera. It consists of several volcanic islands, primarily Nea Kameni and Palea Kameni, which were formed by eruptions over thousands of years. The most significant eruption occurred around 1600 BC, drastically shaping the island's landscape and creating the dramatic caldera that Santorini is known for today. The volcano is still active, with geothermal features such as hot springs and fumaroles. It plays a major role in the island's geology and is a popular site for tourists interested in nature and history, offering stunning views of the caldera and the surrounding Aegean Sea.

    4. Thirassia

Thirassia is a small island located just off the coast of Santorini, separated by a narrow channel. It is part of the Santorini archipelago and offers a more tranquil and authentic experience compared to its famous neighbor. Thirassia is known for its traditional Greek village life, with picturesque whitewashed houses, narrow streets, and stunning views of the caldera. The island is less developed and retains much of its original charm, making it a peaceful escape from the busier parts of Santorini. Visitors can explore the quiet villages, enjoy fresh local cuisine, and take in breathtaking views of the surrounding Aegean Sea. Thirassia is a perfect spot for those looking to experience a quieter, more traditional side of the island.

    Cruise in Io

We took a cruise to Io from Santorini on 7/8/2026. It was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend!! The girls of the crew were very good professionals but above all great people. We were guided to the corners of Santorini and Io. We swam for a long time in Io where we swam in the open of Manganari beach with blue, deep and cool waters. We ate, drank and sang. It was an excellent catamarane cruise. I would go again without a doubt!

Response from the operator: Σας ευχαριστούμε θερμά για τα υπέροχα λόγια και για την τόσο όμορφη και αναλυτική κριτική σας!

    IOS 10 hr Catamaran Cruise

Overall, an excellent experience and the crew is very attentive and nice andb9at was well stocked with food and drinks. They cooked a delicious authentic greek lunch, which was definitely a highlight as well as the sunset. Only thing I would have liked to have is more Beach / Swim time for as long as the cruise was.

Response from the operator: We really appreciate the time you took to review your experience from start to finish in such detail! We are very happy that we managed to meet your expectations and offer you a wonderful experience!

A dreamy excursion. Everything was perfect from start to finish.

It was a dreamy excursion. We were picked up from our villa in the morning and taken to the departure point. There, Manus and Vasia welcomed us warmly. We also had wonderful weather. Vasia drove the catamaran, and Manus told us about a few special places. Upon arriving at Ios, we could go swimming in the sea, and the two prepared great food for us. After the meal, we returned after a short break and watched the sunset. It was also a dream that day. The two of them took care of us throughout the entire tour. My husband and I were on our honeymoon in Santorini, and I asked Manus if I could request a song. The request was fulfilled, and our wedding song was played. Thank you very much for that again.

    Perfect experience!

The boat tour was simply breathtaking! The lovely Manus and Vasia showed us the beautiful island of Santorini from the water, shared a lot about it, and accompanied us the whole time with wit and charm. There was always plenty of drinks provided, and the buffet was very delicious and plentiful. I would book a tour with Caldera Yachting again at any time and can wholeheartedly recommend these tours!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.

How much does Santorini, Ios Full-Day Small-Group Catamaran Tour with Lunch cost?

    +

Prices start at $343 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Santorini, Ios Full-Day Small-Group Catamaran Tour with Lunch take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.

Is Santorini, Ios Full-Day Small-Group Catamaran Tour with Lunch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Santorini, Ios Full-Day Small-Group Catamaran Tour with Lunch?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Santorini, Ios Full-Day Small-Group Catamaran Tour with Lunch suitable for kids and families?

How far in advance should I book Santorini, Ios Full-Day Small-Group Catamaran Tour with Lunch?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Santorini?

    +

On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Tailor-Made Santorini Land Tour with a Local Driver. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santorini?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santorini?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
