    Stop Cancelling My Tours

This tour was cancelled two days before the tour. I am very disappointed with how this organization operates. If you are short one or two people needed for the tour, eat the cost. You can make it up on other tours. This way, you do not get angry customers that were looking forward to going on your tour.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear about your disappointment. We always do our best to avoid cancellations, and when they unfortunately happen, we systematically offer alternative dates and times so that our guests can still join us. For this season so far, we have not had any cancellations from our side. If you were one of our confirmed guests, we would have contacted you directly with other available options. If this was not the case, or if something went wrong with the communication, please feel free to reach out to us so we can look into it. We take every booking seriously and always try to find a solution that works for our guests. Kind regards, The Tourist of Santorini

    Best day out...

Our Santorini Highlights Tour with Tasos was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Greece. From the moment we met him, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. Over the course of five hours, Tasos took us to some of the most beautiful and iconic locations on the island. We explored the charming village of Oia, where he made sure to help us capture the perfect photos in front of the famous blue domes. He also guided us to the southwestern part of Santorini, including the monastery and lighthouse, offering fascinating insights into the island’s history and culture along the way. We visited the stunning Red Beach, White Beach, and Black Beach, each with its own unique beauty and character. Tasos shared interesting information throughout the tour and was always happy to answer questions, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. What really set this tour apart was Tasos himself. His passion for Santorini, great sense of humor, and warm personality made him feel more like a local friend than a tour guide. If you’re looking for a memorable way to experience the island, we highly recommend this tour and especially recommend asking for Tasos. He made our day in Santorini unforgettable.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review! 😊 It was truly a pleasure spending the day with you and sharing the beauty, history, and culture of Santorini. I am delighted to hear that the tour became one of the highlights of your trip to Greece and that you enjoyed visiting the island’s most iconic locations. Your kind words about my guiding, sense of humor, and passion for Santorini mean a great deal to me. My goal is always to create an experience that feels personal, enjoyable, and memorable for every guest. Thank you again for your recommendation and for choosing to explore Santorini with us. I hope our paths cross again someday, and it would be a pleasure to welcome you back to Santorini in the future! Warm regards, Tasos 😊

Santorini Highlights Tour (Day/Sunset): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.

How much does Santorini Highlights Tour (Day/Sunset) cost?

    +

Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Santorini Highlights Tour (Day/Sunset) take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.

Is Santorini Highlights Tour (Day/Sunset) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 55 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Santorini Highlights Tour (Day/Sunset)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Santorini Highlights Tour (Day/Sunset) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Santorini Highlights Tour (Day/Sunset)?

    +

Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Santorini Highlights Tour (Day/Sunset) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Santorini?

    +

On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santorini?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santorini?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
