Amazing and well informed captains
Kareem & Janus were amazing. We booked a private boat experience and they ensured we were treated well and explained the history of the islands and volcanos during our tour. Highly recommend them :)

The Perfect Santorini Catamaran Experience for the Whole Family
We couldn’t have asked for a better catamaran experience! The boat was beautiful, and the crew was incredibly friendly and accommodating—especially with our two kids, ages 10 and 12. The cruise offered all the classic, spectacular views of the Caldera, but the highlight was stopping to snorkel in crystal-clear shallows filled with beautiful fish. It was the perfect touch and made the trip especially memorable for the kids. The food was also delicious and served with such care. A wonderful experience from start to finish—highly recommend!

Great experience!
What a great time! The crew was awesome, informative and friendly. We got to see much of the local beaches and coastline. Some light swimming and snorkeling towards the end which was "fine" but the trip itself was a nice way to tour the waters. Not to mention, an amazing meal! Karim's giant beans were off the charts! Also had gluten free option which was very helpful. You will enjoy it!

Well worth it!
This was a fantastic experience. The tour operators (Captain and one other deck crew) were incredibly knowledgable about the area. The Captain is a Santorini local, born and raised there, and this is one of the few locally owned tours on Santorini. Most boats the do tours during the busy season are just there for the season, but we felt lucky to have booked with a local company. The food was fantastic, the views were beautiful, and the experience was 11/10. It was a very fair price for the experience we received. I could not more highly recommend.

Once in a lifetime memories with Sailaway in Santorini
A must do in Santorini! We had a wonderful and memorable time with our kids on the private tour with Sailaway. For anybody wanting a private boat experience from US , the private option is worth it. The day started with a private shuttle pickup from.our villa in Oia. The day started with a bit of a snag with the port authority saying the passenger list was inaccurate. Fortunately the captain was able to quickly resolve the situation. Our kids had a blast swimming off the catamaran. The floating and snorkeling was provided. We got beer, wine and juices for the kids. The cremate, Karim made us a delicious home-cooked Greek lunch . It was delicious. He was very attentive with helping take sunset photos of our family, offering us drinks after drinks, and even drying our towels on the clothesline. Both the captain and Karim were fabulous. I would strongly recommend using Sailaway for a once in a lifetime memory when you are in Santorini.

Why this scores 79
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Santorini Half Day Catamaran Private Cruise incl. Meal, Drinks & Free Transport: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.
How much does Santorini Half Day Catamaran Private Cruise incl. Meal, Drinks & Free Transport cost?
+
Prices start at $140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Santorini Half Day Catamaran Private Cruise incl. Meal, Drinks & Free Transport take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.
Is Santorini Half Day Catamaran Private Cruise incl. Meal, Drinks & Free Transport worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 89 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Santorini Half Day Catamaran Private Cruise incl. Meal, Drinks & Free Transport?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Santorini Half Day Catamaran Private Cruise incl. Meal, Drinks & Free Transport suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Santorini Half Day Catamaran Private Cruise incl. Meal, Drinks & Free Transport?
+
Around 31 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Santorini Half Day Catamaran Private Cruise incl. Meal, Drinks & Free Transport start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santorini?
+
On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santorini?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santorini?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
