    Santorini Island Tour

Our tour was great! Dimitris provided so much information about the island and we loved it. He contacted us with the details before meeting and shared the meeting point with directions. He communicated with us for reminders, meeting time, travel route and tour length. He shared the history of the island and gave us great options to choose for lunch. We had plenty of time to find treasures to bring back home and our wine tasting was delightful. We saw so much of the island because he knew where to go easily. We took a private tour so we also had an opportunity to request sites we were looking forward to seeing. It was a great time. Thank you Dimitris!

Great way to see Santorini in a day!

We had 12 travelers & they were able to accommodate our group in a very nice van. They were also able to shift to an alternative port pick up at the last minute when there was a power outage at the main port with the funicular. Our guide was able to show us the whole island, avoid the crowds & do a wine tasting all in 6 hrs. Fabulous day! Definitely recommend doing a private tour with them on Santorini. Very worth the price! Slight hiccup at the end of the day with a super long line for the funicular due to the earlier power outage & 5 cruise ships being in port, making us a little late for our ship. We were assured by our guide that we would not be left & they were right! One of our memorable stories to tell.

    Day of fun and Santorini

We booked this tour due to our limited time on Santorini and thought it would allow us to see more of the island more quickly. It worked exactly as we had planned. Our guide Gabriel picked us up right on time and we were off on a day of adventure. He offered many local areas to eat at and tour that we would not have otherwise known about. It is completely tailored to what you want to do. We even ran back to our hotel quick to shower and change clothes prior to dinner. We couldn’t have been happier With this excursion.

Unforgettable Santorini Day Tour with Christine – Stunning Views, Wine, and Personalized Guidance

We had a wonderful full-day tour of Santorini with Christine as our guide. She was incredibly personal, friendly, and knowledgeable—especially about the island’s rich history and its vineyards. Christine helped us plan the perfect day, offering suggestions when we weren’t sure where to go. We visited the iconic Three Bells, the picturesque village of Oía, and enjoyed a wine tasting at Gaia Winery. The tour was filled with breathtaking views and great company. Highly recommend!

Santorini 8-Hour Private Tour with Hotel & Cruise Port Pickup: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.

How much does Santorini 8-Hour Private Tour with Hotel & Cruise Port Pickup cost?

    +

Prices start at $165 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Santorini 8-Hour Private Tour with Hotel & Cruise Port Pickup take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.

Is Santorini 8-Hour Private Tour with Hotel & Cruise Port Pickup worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 65 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Santorini 8-Hour Private Tour with Hotel & Cruise Port Pickup?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Santorini 8-Hour Private Tour with Hotel & Cruise Port Pickup suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Santorini 8-Hour Private Tour with Hotel & Cruise Port Pickup?

    +

Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Santorini 8-Hour Private Tour with Hotel & Cruise Port Pickup start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Santorini?

    +

On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santorini?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santorini?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
